I played BF3 for about a year on a Phenom II, saw practically no difference when getting an FX 8320 but when I swapped from a GTX560Ti to a HD7850 I saw a difference, and when I took the Phenom II X6 on the road with me it had a 5770, that thing barely ran BF3 past medium settings.
