Look Guys I'm a PS2 Weapon Designer!

    Ima gonna design some empire specific hand grenades for teh game.

    VS: Spider Grenades. When thrown on the ground or against a wall, they unfurl their legs and crawl towards the nearest enemy, leap on them and explode like a xenomorph facehugger made of C4. Circumvents Flak Armor.

    NC: Nail Grenades: When tossed into a room, instead of exploding it springs into the air and begins shooting nails in every direction for several seconds acting as area denial. Being hit by nails causes a bleeding effect that damages health over time and obscures vision for a few feconds.

    TR: Despot Grenades: These grenades do half the damage of a normal frag grenade, but you get two of them. Also you can only throw them half as far. Also they are red. Done.

    NC grenade instagib a whole room, but can only be thrown 1 an hour
    TR fires off multiple weak bomblets that linger until detonated by movement
    VS has 0.75 ADS...

    It's a medic grenade that gives 0.75 ADS for 15 seconds for all weapons for team mates.

    Next up, empire specific Medical Applicators.

    VS: In addition to healing, the VS Applicator allows the medic and the target they are healing to run at 4X speeds.

    NC: In addition to healing, the NC Applicator applies an overshield to the healing target that functions like Resist Shield, lowering all incoming damage by 40% at maximum rank.

    TR: The TR Medical Applicator heals 50% slower than the standard applicator, but you can dual wield it. Also it is red. Done.

    Now, empire specific Infiltrator Cloaks!

    VS: Cygnus Cloak. Make the Infiltrator's cloak a 10 meter radius area bubble that cloaks teammates, allowing squads to make a stealthy approach.

    NC: Gauss Cloak. Causes the Infiltrator's cloak to create EMP interference that makes all enemies in their proximity suffer the effects of EMP and Concussion grenades. Perfect for causing mayhem and disruption.

    TR: Lockdown Cloak. Increases Infiltrator weapon rate of fire 5%. Also locks Infiltrator in place and makes them glow red. Done.

    ES Nanite Repair Tools:

    VS: A vehicle's weapons' systems do not have drop, are more accurate, and have higher velocity when being repaired.

    NC: Repairing a vehicle is 25% slower, but the vehicle takes 50% less damage while being repaired and can be over-repaired for extra health.

    TR: Repairing is 50% faster, and increases a vehicles speed by 15% temporarily. Also, it is red. Done.

    Now you've got it!

    Bonus points if:
    -The VS stuff breaks common sense game design rules like giving one faction flying tanks that can jump onto the roofs of buildings.
    -The NC stuff requires special code and mechanics that are completely unique to them, like a TV guided missile you can fly out of a spawn room, over a hill and into a deployed Sunderer.
    -The TR stuff actually sorta helps the enemy in some way. And is also red.

    New empire specific AI mines!

    VS: Completely transparent so cannot be seen. Also gives 0.75 ADS buff for nearby friendlies.

    NC: Explosion is powerful enough to OHK a max. Will also be triggered by friendlies.

    TR: Triggers by the second enemy that passes it but when triggered it explodes twice.

    New device for infiltrators that rather than cloak you projects a hologram/s of you 1-3 seconds before, giving the appearance of 2 or more players at times, and a blurring on slower moving player.

    VS now gets a 30% tighter spandex buff. (and .75 ADS)
    NC now can transform themselves into gigantic steel walls with overshields for good measure.
    TR bleeds. Also blood is red. Done

    Empire specific Jump Jets.

    VS: Cassiopeia Jump Jets. Instantly disassembles the user unto a cloud of nanites and reassembles them at a line-of-sight location. Basically Flash Step.

    NC: NC-95 Sizzler Jets. An overclocked version of the Icarus Jump Jet that spray flames that burn groups of enemies in a 360 degree ring when you thrust.

    TR: Glory Jets. Drifter Jets with half the horizontal velocity, burn fuel twice as fast but hold twice as much and recharge 75% slower. Boosts weapon rate of fire 9% with a 200% accuracy/recoil penalty. Cannot use Primary Weapon when equipped. Also makes you glow bright red and leaves a trail of red in the air.

    Great news. It turns out im also a designer.

    New ES ESF abilities:

    VS: A boost in a direction similar to magburner.
    NC: Shields for a short time
    TR: Lockdown and crash your ESF, while glowing red

    Empire specific MAX abilities, the next generation.

    VS: Daft Punk Jump Jets. When equipped at max rank, also allows VS MAXs to capture control points, overload/diffuse generators and hack enemy terminals.

    NC: Cargomaster. Turns NC MAXs mobile equipment terminals that allow teammates to re-arm and change class. At maximum rank acts as a mobile spawn beacon and allows up to three squad members to ride inside.

    TR: Unity Module. When activated, not only does the MAX Lockdown, but so does every TR within 100 meters. Equipping it disables the MAX's left weapon arm. Also makes everyone glow bright red.

    Empire specific ammo packs!

    VS: Friendlies within the pack's radius have their weapon reload speed increased.

    NC: Friendlies within the pack's radius have an effect that cause their bullets to fragment when they hit surfaces.

    TR: Friendlies within the pack's radius automatically send you a friend request and private message saying "Thank you for the ammunition". Also they glow red.
