    Hello fellow planetmans,

    here's the original reddit post:

this occurs a few seconds to a minute after logging in to a character. Always on patch days.. eventually it stops happening (dunno how and why), sometimes a matter of a few hours, sometimes a day or two..

Sometimes a G9 is thrown instead (which means corrupt files).

Am posting here, since the official issue tracker gives me 502 Error.

    Have tried:
    1. Validating Assets in game's launcher: usually just scans the files and says all up to date.
    2. Clean Install to same directory on SSD with Steam.
    3. Clean Install to different directory on SSD without Steam.
    4. Clean Install to HDD without Steam.
    4. Removing my config files (starting with vanilla).
    5. Closing background apps such as recursion, Nvidia GE, Discord, Steam.
    6. Restarting PC.
    7. Restarting Router.
    8. Setting every PS2 related executable to Run as administrator.
    9. Updating graphics drivers.
    10. Updating directx (it was up to date).

    possible lead:

Don't know if related or not but after LocalLow daybreak folder is created, i get this launcher exception in later launches of game's launcher...

It doesn't allow to press Play and launch the game client.

What i normally do, and this also happens outside of patch days, is I delete the LocalLow daybreak folder and relaunch the launcher. Eventually made a batch file to do it and than run the launcher. Exception isn't thrown anymore, and these files are re-created by the launcher on next launch (so exception will occur if I restart the launcher again).

Sometimes, and i suspect it happens only around patch days, when i launch it after deletion of said folder, the launcher re-downloads the game's executable (a 20,000k~ download) and than allows me to press Play.

If you know what's causing this exception and how to fix it (except for the deletion workaround), would be helpful as well (even if not related to main issue at hand)..

Anyone experienced this problem? Any ideas?

Any dev response? (again, issue tracker is down for me).

    Some updates:

Still getting kicked due to "Validate Game Assets". Sometimes, if i am able to switch continent or deploy, it might throw a G9 error in the mix.

    Happens on different accounts.

    1. Tried another uninstall, reg clean, re-install with Steam on SSD.
    2. Tried forwarding ports: 10060-10061, 20040-20199, 5000-6000
    3. Tried disabling win10 firewall.
    4. Posted a support ticket. we'll see how this goes.. very skeptic.

Did you disable antivirus? Since you've tried so many things already i suppose you have but you simply didn't mention it.

    sadly, yes.

Here's an unresolved issue from 2016 which i find similar (read his last comment from april this year):

    https://dgcissuetracker.com/browse/PS-2478

You probably play it on steam...so here we go:
    The problem is Steam!

    Close Steam.
Go to Steam folder and Delete everything EXCEPT:
    -Steam.exe (Programm)
-Steamapps (There are your games saved)
    -Userdata

Then Start Steam again, do the Update and play painfree like you should.

    Have fun,
    Diggsano

Read the post before commenting. Issue occurs with or without steam. Have clean installed several times.
  7. DIGGSAN0

    DO YOU HAVE STEAM?
If yes do what i said
(No matter if PS2 is installed via Steam or not)

Also where does your Thread say that you do not use Steam or PS2 via Steam?
