It's kind of hard to offer definitive answers when definitive parameters aren't set. It leaves the door open for all kinds of speculation and personal interpretation of someone else's thought process. My first question or thought when people ask "what should I use?" is are you planning on going for the Auraxium Master weapon? If so then it becomes an almost moot point as now you have 5 weapons you 'must' max out on. I have never went strictly by the numbers or what is supposedly better when making choices. I use what I prefer or enjoy more. I learn to adapt my play towards a weapon's strengths and try to minimize my exposure to its weaknesses. I can speak from modest experience with both of these particular weapons because I am 100 kills away from going Auraxium with the Jag, which is an incredibly well rounded carbine, but I still plan on returning to the Lynx. Simply because I just enjoy using it more.
