Infiltrator Very Long range sniping help!!

    You might want to check the dates on threads before putting too much stock in their information, no snarkiness intended in saying that. This game has a lot of changes still going on, buffs, nerfs, et cetera. Rendering changes were made..mid-February, I think? Render distance is still based on what the server decides to show you based on how many units are around you. The distance was in general made greater on the last update.

    Just as a warning, a post more than a month or two old here has a large chance of having outdated information if it is concerning specifics.

    OK GUYS, one thing to get out of your head is that the VS, TR and NC Bolt-actions are different. THEY ARE NOT, they're just reskins of the same rifle (albeit with different bolt animations). In other words RAMS. 50 = Longshot = Parallax etc. However as for CQC pistols you either want TR or NC, TR for a burst-fire pistol or NC (Rebel) if you want high damage but also get punished heavily for missing a shot. If you go NC remember to always ADS with the Rebel.

    12x and suprressor do not go well together.

    There are fast bolt actions that can only mount a 4x scope that are perfect with Silencer for in close mid range sniping.

    With the longer range bolts a 12x is all you need. Only cert into long range befitting mods


    Extra ammo is good if you want to be more independent... but you can always hack terms too.

    As NC don't use the Rebel to defend yourself, it's an objective DPS and accuracy reduction against the Mag-Shot. The Rebel is only better in that it can close-range headshot someone with 2 rounds before they can react.

    Rebel is better for close-in assassination, Mag-Shot better for fighting back against people who've come for you!
