It looses a tiny bit of DPS, but in the end since it has access to all accesories you can get higher damage from it since you can specialize it to do a good job at whatever specific you want.
Im using only the Lynx and its possible to get kills even at the edge of mid range (100m ish) if you burstfire and know how to counter the recoil.. (KDR after the last 2h fighting was 2.6, no spawncamping) My setup: IR, forward grip, silencer/flashsup and softpoint (with a silencer your range is alot more limited)
