    Yup, just see how AMD perform with BF3.

    Recently created a new OC profile after managing to figure out how to turn the stock cooler to 11 (basically trying to just keep it under 62C), at 54c @ 4.3 under load I got braver basically. It aims to 4.51. Plan on giving it a proper test tonight. With this config.

    [Rendering]
    GraphicsQuality=2
    TextureQuality=1
    ShadowQuality=1
    RenderDistance=1500.000000
    Gamma=0.490000
    MaximumFPS=80
    UseLod0a=0
    OverallQuality=-1
    LightingQuality=3
    EffectsQuality=3
    TerrainQuality=3
    FloraQuality=1
    ModelQuality=2
    VerticalFOV=74
    ParticleLOD=2
    ParticleDistanceScale=0.650000
    FogShadowsEnable=0
    MotionBlur=0
    VSync=0
    GpuPhysics=1

    My hope is that I can get to a few large battles and see whether or not this kicks it out the 20'ies completely.
    I am intrigued to test this '4.5 and above' sweetspot hypothesis that has been flying around.

    Specs

    AMD Fx 8350 @ 4.51 - lolstockcooling111!!!
    Asus M5A78L-M LX V2#
    EVGA 650GTX SC @ 1.2
    8 gig DDR3 1333 now slightly OC'ed at 733

    i have a rule of thumb for cpu and fps-
    For ivy bridge and sandybridge-e, multiply the amount of gigahertz by 10 and you have the fps in large fights.
    ie, 4.4ghz 3770k - 44 fps

    Absolutely fine since 12.11.
