2 things that are way too abundant right now, fix this junk sony.

    The resource system is garbage. It should be more difficult to obtain all 3 resources - now I always have them at full....

    Solution? bring back planetside 1 gameplay. this game as it is now is just too boring to play.

    wow, complaining about vehicles in a vehicle game, used to get that from people joining a jet only maps server and complaining about being bombed...takes all sorts i guess

    its balanced well now, i have several time segments paid for but still if i crash the ESF like a nub i get a long wait
    short times = lots of certs, specialists will have better recycle times, thats the idea
    so if costs doubled, nub crashes so pulls a sundy, crashes that, pulls a lib, crashes that, pulls a lighning, still can alternate resource use

    Agree with the OP even if not articulated well. I think 500 for an ESF and MBT and 750 for a Lib. As it stands right now only infantry resources ever feel depleted to me.

    It also needs to become a viable tactic to starve the other factions of a certain resource. Right now fighting the VS tends to revolve around tech plants to remove the Mag whereas removing their access to vehicle resources should be the metagame objective.

    I also think MBT's should also require a main gunner to be viable but understand I'm probably in the minority with that.

    Although having them at full does nothing to timers if you can't spawn what you need at the time. I've had my aircraft timer down at the time when air-to-air is needed. Spawning yet another tank when you're being owned in the air does very little.

    I think people tend to forget that bases & facilities are designed differently in this game. I've been a part of a tank zerg before, it looked awesome, felt awesome, up until we rolled up to The Crown. Our tanks became useless, then enemies brought in air support and it was over. Same with Tech Plants, if the defenders are smart and don't run out of the force field, the tanks often sit idle outside with the drivers out roaming about on foot. Some bases just are harder to take with a tank zerg, just as some facilities are air-unfriendly. There's a reason the landscape is designed the way it is, and why facilities & bases are designed differently. Some bases are more vulnerable to a tank zerg, and harder to defend. While others are better against tank zerg.

    This game isn't a one size fits all. And this is coming from a lonewolf player who doesn't get bothered by dying. This is a war game, I don't care if I get outnumbered or outplayed. It happens. I happen to like having the choices to spawn tanks and other vehicles. I have never at once feel my faction dominate so much that these zergs are ridiculous. But then I suspect a lot of the opinions and experiences from others have more to do with their server's faction imbalance than the actual game's balance. On Genudine, as a NC we constantly get good fights from VS & TR, it's never an easy rollover.

    Rocketpots are fine. Unlock anti air stuff and use it. Most of the time, there are 10% of the people using AA.
    Why do people expect to survive a rocketpod attack?

    When i spot a bunch of people (5-15) with sunderer there is mostly no AA with them. I am killing 5+ and they are just shooting with combatrifles and notguided launchers on me. Noone takes a burster max out or something. Ofc they will get ***** for not enough AA. they deserve it

    MBTs are too cheap.. 400 should be the minimum.

    Warpgate: Lowest resource cost. Helps factions that have been pushed back to near the warpgate.
    Main Bases: Cost remains the same as now for vehicles / aircraft.
    Secondary bases: Higher resource cost - you pay more for convenience.

    This rewards good vehicle drivers who keep their vehicles alive for longer periods of time, and punishes people who zerg for 2 minutes and die.

    please increase resources on aircrafts and tanks, everyone is rolling tanks and air battles now

    There is a problem: The losing side is handicapped by resource gain as well as the spawn timers after losing their stuff. The most fun part for the majority of the players is infantry BECAUSE its feels the most fair: No tanks shooting your face, No aircraft rocketing you or shooting a 105mm cannon from god knows where.

    The best party of this game is infantry right now due to all the wrong reasons. Even then, people are mad about how weapons are unbalanced because some idiot decided to give the factions advantages in all the wrong places. Face it, this game will take months or even a year or more to fix all the issues being brought up. As soon as one major issue is addressed (NC weapon rebalancing or Rocketpods) something new will take its place for the next month.

    Wow this isn't hypocritical at all, punish players who prefer to play in vehicles because they don't like infantry combat by forcing them to play infantry because you don't want to fight players who like their vehicles. From a full resource reserve you essentially have three lives max in a land or air vehicle depending on what you fly/drive if you suck you will run out of resources quite quickly. If you survive long enough to recoup the cost of the vehicle then you deserve to pull another immediately.

    Starving a side of resources is a certainly a valid tactic, the time to earn enough resources to cover a vehicle purchase can be anywhere from 5 minutes for a dominant faction, 30 minutes for a liberator pilot working to support an under dog faction to for-bloody-ever if your locked in your warpgate.

    How long do you have to wait before you can pull another infantry class after dying and whats the cost? Thats right it costs nothing and you can be back on the field in seconds.

    So tell me how is only being allowed to die three times in rapid succession at most in the face of a technically never ending infantry horde "unfair" and "OP".

    Like I said it really just sounds like you guys feel like you shouldn't even have to bother with shooting at vehicles. Stop whining, man up and actually try team-work for a change if your getting owned by aircraft or tanks. This is three games in one Air-power, land vehicles and infantry. Not infantry with a land/air gimmick, they will forever remain a large part of the game and will be the dominant force outside of bases or extremely claustrophobic areas.That the whole reason tanks and airplanes are in the game.

    You are not nor should you be a super soldier capable of dealing death to any and every threat on the battlefield and the one segment of the population actually punished for dying should not be punished further just because you don't like them.

    Really how childish can you be.
