What's your favorite small race?

I just realized I been thinking of a different kind of gnoll from EverQuests version of gnolls :v

Guess the ones I drew probably would need a new name then in that case, heh.

Halfling then gnome for me. Halfling just have a style to them that it more appealing to the eqn layout. Gnomes are great and I'd love to see some little Magos running around... but as a dev.. I'd have a lot more fun design in the parkour for the fury foots

I simply ask you this. Is there anything greater than hairy halfling feet?

I always loved the Ratonga, they were extremely fun to RP and did well to diversify the races.

FAE AND ARASAI! they can improve many class types because of their glide abilities and i LOVE their wing customization

I have to give my vote to the Ratongas! I always go towards the larger classes, however Ratongas have been the only small race that I have liked. I personally think that Halflings and Gnomes are just another "human" stylized race, and I feel that Ratongas, Fae, or Frogloks would be add more of a variety in game play.

An old discussion, but I was just thinking, when landmark comes out, the wife and I will probably try and make some kind of Halfling village. We should get all Halfling lovers together and make a giant Halfling themed land! whos with me! yeah!!!!!

Edit* This is assuming you'll be able to put your plots next to each other. I know they recently had a video where they said you could pack up your plot and move it to a more like-minded area. At the very least, we're hoping to race out and pick two plots of land next to each other.

Unfortunately no confirmation yet on what races will be available in Landmark, other than humans.

I think the Frogloks or Rataongas would be awesome to play and would be a very nice RP experience.

I have to vote Fae, just because it would be the greatest departure from the other races. Wings. That is all.

Frogloks and Ratongas..... I loved my Ratonga Dirge in EQ2!

I can tell the EQ2 fans have not hit this thread, or were outnumbered by the EQ1 players. Ratongas are like an obsession on EQ2. An obsession I never quite understood either.

I would be sad if the Ratonga or something similar did not make it, but as long as I get my elves with many options I will still be happy. Gnomes HAVE to be in though as my husband will be hard to keep in game with out his gnomes. He has a character that has progressed through many games starting from EQ1 over more than a decade of gaming, always in ether a gnome or similar race type. Gnomes are not negotiable!

Gnomes are mentioned as a race in the Combine in at least one of the ebooks, I'd be surprised if they weren't in at the start.

Fae/Arasai! Neriak was one of the most beautiful places in all of EQ2, and both those races had such an interesting storylines. Not too mention that the movement/ability to fly would be fantastic to experience.

Gnomes and Halflings. Could care less about the other races. I slay frogloks in Guk, I don't play as them...Should not be a playable race in my opinion. Long live Grobb. Froglok scum.

Death to ELFs. I hope I can hamper the rebuilding of any Elven city and cause Elfs as many issues as possible in the name of lore.

I have read the ebooks already is there other places to find more lore? From the books point of view the Combine (ELFS) had dwards, orcs, and humans enslaved and considered any other race as minor. If I go by the ebooks sorry but I am going to try to kill as many elfs as possible from the shadows. Once my races city is rebuilt then ill openly try to disrupt elven plans. lol.

I hate gnomes. I know, I know, there are those that love them. I absolutely hate them. However, I have to live with them apparently. Yes, I will readily admit that I am racist against gnomes. The only good gnome is a dead one.

Ratongas, I love. Fae, I love (yes, I want to feel pretty sometimes too, dammit!). LOL. Halflings are hilarious. All the other small races are fun, humorous, and enriching. Gnomes are just a plague on Norrath that hasn't been permanently "fixed" yet.
