Ok so basically, Protective instinct is a 300k ward per person ( i run roughly around 800-1mil hp in raid). Spirit of druidism is another 70k ward per person with my high amounts of potency and then its just being lucky with procs, having a templar for debuff heals helps a lot too.
It would make sense, druids do need more stuff. Perhaps the duck mount could provide offensive (+500 WDB) or defensive (30% damage reduction) group buffs, based on if it is a land mount or flying mount. This would not completely fix druids, but it will help for them to become more desirable in group and raid content.
Don't forget the true beauty of a duck mount - it travels underwater (that's why they're called 'ducks').
