Level 52 Dire Blade is the replacement for level 39 skill Crippling Blade.
  3. ARCHIVED-Jay42 Guest

Great idea. I'll do what I can, we'll have to fill in some of the levels later when we can verify in game. Should we also designate those spells that are not upgraded somehow? Might be helpful..

Thanks Jay, I made your adjustments... and I got the primal reflexes and feral instinct part sorted out.
Again point out any errors or more info and I'll update.
  5. ARCHIVED-Zholain Guest

Sorry for the spam...noticed you have ??'s by Culling the Weak. It's the level 57 replacement for Culling the Herd.
  6. ARCHIVED-DarumaRanger Guest

Well I'm not sure who's right or wrong but... here's the link to Khalysta's Ranger info on her site The Scouts Sanctuary; www.thescoutssanctuary.com.
    http://www.thescoutssanctuary.com/ranger.php
She has Makeshift Arrows as a lv 20 CA now... was it changed as part of the revamp?
There are some mistakes in her table, as has been pointed out in the forums she hosts on her site... but no one has commented on Makeshift Arrows being at lv 20.
Anyway, just figured I'd share that link for any who are interested.
    Take care.
  7. ARCHIVED-~Mercuic Guest

wow, excellent site... I wouldn't have bothered with my list if knew of this link. THANKS!
As far as makeshift arrows, I'll have to check in game. I was only going by what EQ2's site said, which hasn't been updated for the changes so I'd put more faith in the link.

I do a see a mistake in the link....
The upgrade to Pierce isn't Disarming Thrust(29)... rather Lightning Strike(29).
    Ok, it's been updated.

    How about Honed Reflexes?
I think you can only find that in Adept III or maybe Master
  10. ARCHIVED-Jay42 Guest

Good point. Honed Reflexes came with Bloodlines, is useable at level 35, and can be crafted by jewellers at anywhere from App 3 to Adept 3 quality.
  11. ARCHIVED-Deila Guest

Honed Reflexes was the Bloodlines added Predator art. Level 35, was originally available from the NPC as an app II, though apprentice and adept III recipes became available to Jewelers, so you can find it as app II, III or IV, and adept III.

I'm currently showing Makeshift Arrows as a level 20 art as well, so looks like that's where it is now.
  12. ARCHIVED-Dojocan Guest

Crippling Blade is lvl 38, not 39
    good work
  13. ARCHIVED-GrayStorm Guest

Hey, now that reminds me... we also have the splitpaw spell called Trick of the Hunter I think.
  14. ARCHIVED-~Mercuic Guest

Trick of the Hunter? How do you get it and or at what level?
  15. ARCHIVED-Deila Guest

Trick of the Hunter is a level 20 art. Basically an improved Impede/Entrap - but reduces Magic resistance instead of heat and has a 10% chance to proc a full root (which never once actually procced for me in all the time I was using it) on top of the snare. You can buy it from the Splitpaw merchant in the Den once you've gained trust with them.
  16. ARCHIVED-~Mercuic Guest

    corrections made.
  17. ARCHIVED-TheStormrider Guest

I have heard tell of a 'pet' creature for rangers that actually attacks. I saw patch notes saying damage, defence, hps were adjusted. Does anyone know what it is, where it comes from, and what level it is?

Thank you kindly. Nice info here btw.

Actually, I prefer this list to the spell descriptions. It is a LOT more helpful in deciding what spells to upgrade to ADIII and which to just leave at ADI. Granted I like the descriptions as well, but the two go hand in hand.

    Thanks for your work :)
  19. ARCHIVED-GrayStorm Guest

Stormrider, that may be thorny trap that you were reading about. I just had the Adept III made last night for it, and I remember in the description is says something like "summons a pet". But I think it works more like a b00by trap. You place it on the ground, and when the mob walks over it, it hit them with piercing damage and roots or snares or something. It will be interesting to see what it looks like.

I have the fluff pets and they seem to be completely useless.

It is interesting that we only know of 2 spells (at least the list above would indicate) that we get at 60. Shouldn't it be like 3? Maybe there is some mystery spell out there that we don't know about yet. Wow, I hope so.. hehe.

And I agree that I like this format better than the linked site, especially since I can actually see this one at work.

Took the information and formatted it into a table which might be a little easier to print.
Added a keyword description to the line ... thanks for the great source material.
I have printed this on one page and found it very useful for planning and tracking:

Enjoy. Feel free to view source and put it on the boards - I couldn't figger out how
to post tables in HTML on these boards ...
