I won't even get out of bed for Ethereals, Ancients, or Grandmasters. If something is less than a 1/100 chance, I'm not going. That includes casinos.
Rare ancient spelles are fine, but the behavior that 6 spells (all conjurer 91-100) did not drop at Valor for the last 10 months is a little bit too rare
I've tried farming for ancients in the past, which is roughly about 400 times more aggravating than trying to pharm current ethereal drops. Best place to acquire either is off the broker, unless you are a masochist.
The new expansion is coming soon - and still there were NOT DROP of conjurer ancient 91+ at Valor reported. I still will not believe on a correct loot table
One year of conjurer ancient 91-100... And we have discovered ONE of them ( Still only Crystal Blast ) at Valor. Sorry this is stupid
It is stupid, I completely agree. I've never seen any drop rate in any game as rare as these stupid spells. Funny considering they are mediocre upgrades to horrible spells/CA's.
Good lord, the sense of entitlement. Rare objects are supposed to be RARE, hard to get, unusual to find. I have a broker set up for my class and "Ancient", just in case one ever appears. And that's mostly so I can LMAO at the price.
just discoverd my second conjurer 91-100 ancient on Valor, again on a transfertwink bought on AB. It's stupid you have to transfer and discover ancient from a different server - more than one year after introducing the ancinet spells
If it never dropped before - you discover it by a servertransfer. Ancients are meant to be a rare and a long term thing. You aren't meant to find 2 every week. They aren't a requirement for clearing content, so if you are playing on an unpopulated server (like Valor) you are bound to see less than if you were on Maj'Dul.

Example. Cataclysm IX was discovered on 4 servers since. Not on AB, not on Valor. Go figure the drop rate.
Well seeing as they only drop as a chance if you kill a mob with the potential ancients on it's loot table, it is logical if you are killing more on a populated server,more will drop. As for the drop rates of specific examples, you can look at discos sure, but they won't tell you if Cataclysm IX has dropped 20x on one server, while another Ancient has dropped repeatedly on another. The whole point is, Ancients are a Bonus/Luxury, rather than a necessity.
