    Possess Minion Gains Control over the Target !?! Duration 12 Hours


    Now it spreads out to 5 different Advancement Lines:

    Misc Line 1
    Theurgist's Strength Raises Strength of Caster by 8 per Rank (max Rank 8)
    Ritual Staff Melee Attack which heals pet and replenishes power to pet, need Dagger equipped (max Rank 8) Reuse 1 Minute
    Augment Defenses Raises Defense (max Rank 8)
    Wild Power Enhances chance to crit with spells (max Rank 8)
    Implode Sacrifice Pet, alle enemies near pet are damaged, additional raises casting speed for a brief period (max Rank 1, Duration 36 seconds, Reuse 10 Minutes)


    Scoutpet Line
    Cabalists Agility Raises Agility of Caster by 6 per Rank (max Rank 8)
    Distracting Strike With successful Melee Strike you loose Hate, need controlled Scoutpet (max Rank 8)
    Agile Minion Gives Pet a chance to gain a second evade try against an attack, uses Avoidance Stat of the Necro, need controlled Scoutpet (max Rank 8)
    Hasten Minion Raises Attackspeed of Pet, needs controlled Scoutpet (max rank 8)
    Sudden Strike Teleports Pet to Target


    Tankpet Line
    Perceptor's Stamina Raises Endurance of Caster by 5 per Rank (max Rank 8)
    Shockwave Needs controlled Tankpet, if Caster makes a succesful Meleeattack Target gets thrown back, Targets vision blurs, lowers Power of Target, Stuns Target, deals magical Damage (max Rank 8) Duration 3 Minutes, Reuse 5 Minutes
    Protective Minion Next Time your Pet strikes an Target it channels damage dealt to your whole group to itself, needs Tankpet (max Rank 8)
    Protect the Master Lowers Casters Hate, Raises Hate on pet, need Tankpet (max Rank 8)
    Unflinching Servant Drains all Power from pet, makes pet immune to all AE attacks which aren't directed at the pet. (max Rank 8) Duration 3 Minutes Reuse 10 Minutes

    Misc Line 2
    Animist's Wisdom Raises Wisdom of Caster by 7 per Rank (max Rank 8)
    Health Siphon Heals Target with Health from pet (max Rank 8) Reuse 1:30 Minutes

    Power Siphon Raises Power of Target and deals heatdamage to pet (max Rank 8)

    Magician's Intelligence Raises Int of Caster by 4 per Rank (max Rank 8)

    Minion's Warding Raises Defense against all magical Damage, needs controlled magic pet (max Rank 8)

    Empower Servant Pet regains immediately 50% of power cost for every spell it casts. A portion of the regenerated power is transformed to Health. (max Rank 1) Duration 3 Minutes Reuse 6 Minutes

    You can max out like 2 lines or mix and match. Somehow I expected more, sounds not to impressive.

    Actually, some of this sounds pretty darn cool! Sure, there are some basic stat boosting things, but some of the skills definately sound useful.

    Well,

    I am quite impressed - they taken abilities (as it seems now) and made them this way that all players have something of it. solo players wil surely build the defensive line up, while raiders will either go for the Mage pet line (rooting the pet while increasing crit attack ... that i will take) or for a mishmash ...

    We wil see, but so far it looks cool for Nekros ...

    First posts on the 60-70 spells are starting to appear. It looks like each class gets only 1 all-new regular spell. Everything else is cut-and-paste every-14-level upgrades. So not much of a learning curve spell-wise.

    This is going to become THE raiding achievement for necros/conjurers. Finally you can keep your pets OUT of the AEs of mobs.

    Heheh.... I found the description of Implode to be very funny.
    "Inflicts 2230800 mental damage on target"
    Why not just say "Kills pet"? :p

    The new Necromancer spell is called Undead Tide. It is basically another dumbfire pet spell. It can summon up to 12 pets ( I think ). The base summon is 3. If there are any corpses around, it will summon an extra pet for every corpse. The pets do really nice damage. Screenshots inc!

    While at it:

    As far as I read on the other classes, Spell progression for the lvl 50 efining spells (like Lich) will not be +14 lvls but at lvl 70.

    So, how is the new Lich on 70?

    I'm only 67 ;)

    At 70 its basically the same, just more dmg/healage. 1% mana regen at everything except 2% at master.

    since I use it mainly for the Mana regen, I will keep probly keep Lich then until I get the new one as M1 :))

    Btw if you guys didn't know... You can now crit on spells. It is supposed to do more damage ( I think its broken atm ) and with our lifetaps it crits the heal aswell. Critting my M2 siphon upgrade + lich nets me like +1k hps.

    Also our base AA ability is broken ( the control minion one). As far as I know it has never worked. :( I can't wait to see how it works though.. It could be awesome.

    So the new spell summons little pets from corpses, dont mob corpses vanish nearly right away if they have no loot on them? If it rezzes one with a piece of loot on it like a piece of status loot, what happens to that?

    Mob corpses remain for a few seconds at least, so if you kill a bunch of little ones, you'll get a good spawn probably.

    Man I can't wait to see the conjuror AAs... with how these look, my word...

    So if you just leave loot on a bunch of corpses or a few group mates die by "accident", then I can call forth an unholy horde... SOUNDS GREAT!

    The bodies don't disappear when you use the raise corpses.

    It is very hard to get more than 2 or 3 extra bodies. A ranger and I duoed for like 10 mins trying to get some and the most we could get was 3, one of which decayed seconds before i casted it.

    Magus -- The conj' AAs are the same as the Necro AAs. They're all archtype based ( or subclass? whatever conj - necro is )\

    I'm not sure if it summons player's corpses... That would be cool though. I hope it does!

    Now I'm making a second necro, Xiggy setup for raid purposes and the new one all out solo/ PVP :smileywink: LOL...the impending internal conflict with who to give what master spells to :smileyvery-happy:

    I know the following question has been asked numerous times but to be honest I have never read a coherent answer, so hence I will ask amongst my brethren :)

    I am lvl 60, explored all of Norrath and completed 1111 quests. Am I right in thinking that these are all locked to me now for AA exp? If this is true then I will have to get all my exp from my remaining quests and exploring KoS (amongst other things)?

    Thanks in advance for a sensible answer (and I am not complaing or asking for a handout, just wanting to clarify the issue)
