    *** Quests & Events ***

    - There will no longer be broadcasts about the tipsy gnome race. You can speak to Teena to get an idea of when it starts up again.
    - Fixed an issue that was causing some fabled NPCs to restore all of their health every tick. The following should no longer have this issue: The Fabled Manaetic Behemoth, The Fabled Saryrn, The Fabled Terris Thule, and The Fabled Warlord Gintolaken. In the Plane of Time instance: The Fabled Tallon Zek, The Fabled Vallon Zek, and The Fabled Saryrn.
    - Fixed an issue with the Zlandicar Raid that could cause the dracoliches to spawn too quickly.
    - Fixed a reset issue with the Defenders of the Tomb raid that could cause the event to reset if all the drakes were killed. Also reduced the hit points and damage of the drakes by 20% or more.
    - Reworked the Rhag Cycle in Ssraeshza Temple using more modern techniques. Each boss should spawn reliably upon the death of the last.
    - Modified the fourth event in Deathknell. Ayonae Ro will now become "vulnerable" over time (and health) rather than all at once.

    *** Spells ***

    - Fixed the spelling of Root Ball Exlosion and Root Bundle Exlosion.
    - Corrected an issue where beam spells would sometimes try to hit mounts and targets out of line of sight.
    - Necromancer - The Necrotizing Wounds line of spells will no longer stack with itself if cast by the same caster. The spells will do more damage and cost more mana. The proliferation spells that are triggered by these spells are unchanged.
    - Necromancer - The Splurt line of spells will no longer stack with itself or with the Necrotizing Wounds line of spells. Higher ranks will deal more damage and cost more mana.
    - Necromancer - The Scourge of Fates line of spells will no longer stack with itself. Scourge of Destiny now deals more damage and costs more mana. The spell line no longer uses a shared timer.

    *** AA ***

    - Corrected an issue where the 'Buy All' button for Mercenary AA Abilities was not properly checking remaining points and prerequisite ranks.

    *** Miscellaneous ***

    - Fixed the exit from Velketor's Labyrinth in Torment of Velious to deposit folks in the Great Divide rather than Eastern Wastes.
    - Fixed a longstanding zone instability problem related to fellowship campfires.
    - Merged groups will no longer include offline members in the creation of a new group. They will need to be invited to the group again if they log back in.

    *** UI ***

    - Added in the Item Compare feature.
    - - You can now easily identify the gains and losses of equipping an item or which slot to equip it in to gain the most benefit.
    - - To use this, inspect any equippable or augment item and select the currently equipped item in the new dropdown box you want to compare to.
    - - This will allow you to see all the relevant equipment traits, stats, and effects that would be added or removed and any value differences.
    - - Your race, class, and deity must match on the item in order to compare.
    - Added two additional color options 'Item Stat Positive' and 'Item Stat Negative' which allow you to customize the colors used to display stat values in the Item Display Window.
    - Corrected an issue that allowed shared bank bags to be opened while shrouded.
    - Corrected an issue where weapon ratio would not accumulate damage correctly if the base item and an augment both had elemental or bane damage. Moved elemental damage to a secondary ratio that displays in parenthesis since it varies by NPC resistances.
    - Added a potential fix for the raid window sometimes causing the client to lock up when moving players into groups.
    - Messages about pending overflow items when logging in will now be displayed with the System Messages filter instead of showing up with Spell Failures.
    - Fixed a typo in the Server Transfer Window.
    - Corrected an issue that prevented Loot All in the Advanced Loot window from looting all.

    - Changed -
    EQUI_ItemDisplay.xml
    EQUI_Templates.xml

Your right, they would need seperate raid focus effects for necros to narrow it to just raid necros. I guess group necros go back to being sub par dps in group game all because 2-3 necros per raid guild get to do awesome dps on some events. Whole dot revamp wound up being a wash when all was said and done.

Thanks for the fix, but did you check the gods past Tallon, Vallon and Saryrn? Specifically Cazic Thule, Bertoxxulous, Rallos Zek, Innoruuk, and Quarm? We were unable to test if they have the same regen problem because it was impossible to progress to them, since we would have had to kill the first four gods to go further into Plane of Time.

The nerfs were definitely conservative but may work out ok if they only get small upgrades next expansion.

Yes, they seem modest, that wounds change is pretty bad though. These changes are enough to push group geared necro dps under group geared tank dps in group content. If you don't play a group geared necro in the group game you won't see the problem. With damage as it currently is I have to go all out to have any chance of out damaging the tank before the mob dies, and it's not guaranteed. With these changes it will be more difficult and rare to out damage the tank, just like it was before the dot revamp started. In the group game mobs just do not live long enough for necro damage to ramp up to the levels that has all the raiders losing their minds screaming for a nerf.
  10. kizant Augur

Tanks are pretty over powered so it doesn't really make sense to compare to them. How do vs mage and beastlord? And I assume in most groups you're not killing 1 mob at a time.

This is hogwash. The buffs we necros got with consolidation of dots and the change to our aa that produced enhanced decay dwarfs this little 10% reduction in damage. Also, the mana costs were reduced as well, so it's not without its benefits.

Well in raids Necro's are pretty over powered so it doesn't really make sense to compare to them.

I have no idea what a comparably geared and max aa beastlord or mage would parse at in a full group with appropriate support, it's been years since I played with either one. I hope they are doing better in the group game than necros.

How many mobs are being killed depends on the zone, group geared players aren't doing pulls with 2 dracoliches and 4 skeletons and a handful of phase spiders. 8+ GD Tizmak's no problem, though there is no reason to do that at this point from my point of view.

I'm real happy about the addition of more early era hunters. Also geeze thats a LOT of bag rewards not that I'm complaining. If you guys wanna add titles to classic->Ldon there wouldn't be any complaints either but I'll take what I can get!

The Velium Endowed Staff was marked fixed internally, did that make it into this patch?
  15. Lyyr Journeyman

Before revamp I was consistently beaten by the tank in dps unless under a full burn. Every fight. I expect that situation to come back after this as 10% is enough to nudge necro group performance to again be consistently behind the tank in a full group.

I don't have mana issues in a full group, unless there is a mana drain mechanic. So from my perspective as a group necro the mana cost reduction is nice but not something that will make a difference, maybe the necro's who spend their time kiting by themselves will like it more. The reduced damage will make a difference how much remains to be parsed but I am sure it will be noticeable and completely unwarranted for the group game.

Any plans to fix all the 'relocated' messages back to their original homes ?

    This is soooooo good. Thankyou!

But ... and I am sorry to do this on such a positive note, but I feel like it's important to ask while all of this is fresh in someone's head: Can you please consider adding titles and era appropriate bag rewards to Classic --> LDoN too please? I feel like if this is not done while it's fresh in someone's head it may get thrown into a too hard basket for the rest of time.

    Muchos thanks once again.

This a good change, but the event should probably be completely redone from the ground up, with a new script. At least everyone won't be sitting around doing nothing for 20 minutes.
  19. Thundersnake Lorekeeper

Feels like a pretty big nerf to necros in group game, 1388 dmg reduction per tick on Dracina's comes out to be more than a whole ticks worth of damage when all is said and done. That's just one spell before Crits and all are considered.
  20. Cragzop Cranky Wizard

You do realize that the Haze line got a massive upgrade at the start of the revamp right? So the spell line is still way ahead on damage.

It was clear as day then that they overshot all the dot damage. Necros should be thanking their lucky stars that the rebalance was nothing like the other classes. Plus you got to use that extra damage for almost a full year, unlike all the other dot classes who were pretty much nerfed within two patches.

It feels like some of you forgot how the process worked for every other class. And you are complaining when you got off far easier than the other classes did.
