Please, do not launch another server.

I'm not waiting for people to go, but we should wait for people to play less. Which is going to happen. Opening week end hype has everyone trying to play at the same time. Once that dies down there wont be as many people in game at the same time

If it's crowded at upper levels, play an alt.

You have 8 slots and absolutely no reason to be in any rush.

Just allow instancing in all non raid zones, not perfect but damn better than the cluster **** that is now....1 month from now.

No, we need a 2nd server with a diff rule set. Ragefire progresses entirely too slow.

I've been in queue for a half an hour now. Took a shower, caught up on reddit. Still not in.
Another server would be a nice alternative.

And it's good to split up the types of players a bit. Maybe there would then be less hostility.

Even if they start a seasonal server it would be great. That would give the hard core raiders a clear focus. I think it's interesting to see how fast they can open up each expansion.

But the current issue on Ragefire is that although the queue will hopefully become less of an issue, it still leaves too little content for the number of players. Opening Kunark would open a lot of content, and they could still leave it as 1 year minimum before opening Velious. That leaves the timeline mostly in place, as per the votes.

They need 1 option to allow people to get away from boxers. Boxing is fun!.... for the boxer. That's fine. How many servers are there that allow boxing?
How many servers are there for people to get away from it?
    Exactly.

Tons of space for you on Vulak, Fippy, or Trakanon.

can Boxers roll there? And did they when those servers launched? Seeing a pattern?

A second server would have worked well, at launch, not so much anymore. Will the population decrease? Surely, why would people continue to pay for a game they can hardly play. However, this DOES NOT mean, that a healthy population will remain. The majority of players are going to get sick of this about the same time, people will not decide gradually to not play until its acceptable. A mass exodus will happen, then the server will be underpopulated like all the previous ones were. The rush to end content will be fun for the few, then when they are the only ones left they will leave like everyone else.

It was a valiant effort, but DBG explicitly ignored what the playerbase warned them about for the entire discussion of another progression server. Hopefully when they do the next one in a year because this one is empty they will finally get it right. Probably wont matter as they have already alienated the largest playerbase who has been interested in EQ for 15 years. I guess the cost of a 2nd server was just much more then a 4000% increase in subs.

is vulak a good example for NOT creating a second server? sure it was the second server but it was highly populated and everything was crowded always. eventually sure the population dropped, but its not like it turned into a ghost town after a month. magefire will always be crowded, always have everything good perma camped, and uh, more stuff probably.

yes you see a pattern, they have been allowed on every single live EQ server. even if ragefire didn't allow multi-boxing, it would be dead in 4-5 years from now as well.
