Not had it either in awhile., although once last month my wiz evaced to find I was the only one who was evac'd. I know the ranger was probably out of range, but I should have caught everyone else. I have not been able to replicate it though.
Evac portals can always fail, just like Gate. We've asked for something to reduce/remove that, but Elidroth says it's hard coded so he can't do it with AAs.
Egress / Abscond = self only - there is a bit of a difference now, but this was not my main point. I was talking about group evacs. Succor. Druid group evac. spell casts slowly. Exodus up, you're great, down you either 1) may not have it loaded due to its casting time vs. risk, or 2) good chance you won't get it off if all of a sudden the tank goes down or something else goes wrong.
