Stone Cold Summer is a holiday in EverQuest available this year until September 24, 2014! Baga's Stand (part 2 of this holiday) starts today, September 10, 2014. For more information about this event, check out the write up EQ Resource has here!
Goes much faster with a druid along. Lots of porting back and forth to Misty Thicket. I got one AA and an ancient artifact. No-stat weapon ornament. http://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?item=97704
One of the better weapon graphics in the game...I'm glad this was brought back so I could get it. Glad it's a group task so I could load it up, and don't need to do it again...quite time consuming.
Yes, I could not find Helagan for the follow-up quest "Baga's Stand" either. But I fount the following info on the linked eqresource site: Now why this was left out of the original announcement, I don't know.
Ah, cool. Thanks Mitsune, I looked around MT the other day and couldn't find NPC, nor did I see any info where I looked online.
The link to EQ Resource was included in the original announcement Today's update has been added to this original post.
Quest 1 doesn't work, and has not been fixed in 2 weeks. Stone Cold Summer 2015 is a failure. Hm so this is the 2014 thread and links to the 2014 eqresource page. Sorry for posting in the wrong thread.
2015 version of this quest in undoable at the present time. The npc Dwerog in Shadowhaven is not anywhere in the tavern and hence cannot be hailed to open up the other steps, completion is impossible.
Am I the only one who thought of this when I read the subject? Bloodninja: Stone Cold Steve Austin gives me some beer. Bloodninja: Wanna Wrestle Stone Cold? Bloodninja: Yeeaahhhh. Sarah19fca: /ignore Bloodninja: Its cool stone cold she was a anyway. Bloodninja: We get on harleys and ride into the sunset.
I see that Dwedrog in Shadowhaven is up on some servers, but not on others. It's possible that the zone repopped or the spawn command failed for some reason. I'm re-running the controller spawn-all-the-NPCs script on all servers, which appears to bring him back, and should also activate anything else that was missing. The way in which the Stone Cold Summer event NPCs spawn is pretty janky-tastic, so we've made changes to the way this is handled so that future versions of this event should behave more reliably.
