We have a ton of activity on the forums, an active vent with all the new recruits and experienced players joining daily. Loving how things are going so far...Barlow has been doing a great job updating the roster and getting all the new people settled in...come check these guys out!
Thanks Nargrok - It is definitely a work in progress (always). Crazy reading hundreds of posts in a week on a board though -- Lol, almost a full-time job.. amazing. I would like to remind folks that we are definitely rated 'M' for mature. Our vent, forums, and chat are definitely filled with adult content. If that is troublesome for you, I strongly recommend the Dead Halfling Society. They are solid and a bit more laid back than us... we like our cocktails and crazy conversations
I'm really excited for Wednesday! We have a pretty solid roster shaping up with people starting all over the world for fun groups in the first few days! Boards are super busy with people getting to know each other and researching Classic spells/tradeskills/etc. I've never seen a guild with a busier message board which I'm absolutely loving and Vent has ~10 people on at almost all times so we've been getting to know all the new people before launch. Barlow is still accepting apps 'cause he's crazy like that so come join the fun!
You guys short on any classes in particular right now? I have a friend playing a warrior and his wife playing a cleric so I can play anything.
Sounds like a good bunch Just a shame that I live in Europe, and would not be able to raid with you guys... :/

@kingofpepsi - We are actually VERY well rounded atm -- A few "surprising" classes have emerged as the favorites - but we are huge advocates of longevity. Play what YOU will enjoy - We will recruit around it if needed. @Lolen - Rosengard will be making a return and will be your best option! @Warlorf - Already spoke to you - And will see you on vent. @Everyone else -- We are 3 days away.. now I have to get all of my "chores" done... have to keep the wife happy.

Yesterday I slacked major on responding to recruits/applicants (Sorry) -- Decided to have a "few" cocktails after work and walked into my house at 2:15am and was back this morning at 8.. Gotta get that out of my system before tomorrow.

Hey guys - Hi Barlow! Coming back after a long long hiatus. Played EQ since alpha, then on the Tribunal up until planes of power. I was in Wrath of Power and then an Elitist/Vagrant. I had to take a break from gaming for quite some time, but I'm looking for what you describe as a medium-core adult centric guild and the progression server has me excited. I'll be doing a Barb shaman as my main I think. I love to dungeon crawl, and I love chain pulling and keeping a healer on their toes (they the whole time - but typically stop when they see the xp rolling in). I know I'm a little last minute here, but hadn't really decided until yesterday if I was going to dedicate time to the progression server. I'm in whole-hearted after playing around with beta for the past few days. Anyhow, going to head on over to the site and pop an application in, that way if I'm approved - I can jump into whatever voice stuff you guys use and meet some folks.
LOL I was always slowing and debuffing on incoming myself. Back when PoP was new content, I was successful in landing slows on difficult mobs, taking the hits, after the higher level and better geared shaman in the guild had died. mostly because my defense skill and casting skills were maxed through grouping and solo play. There's something to be said against power leveling right there. But yeah, kept the other healer types on their toes, and forced the raid leaders to adjust their rules about healers and caster in the rear (except Doranur) hehe. Our first Bertox raid was something else. I had two druids healing me, because we had so many mobs running around, and respawns due to low DPS, that I was spamming Tigir's Insects, which of course is an aggro generator. Kept most of the mobs slowed long enough to let the offtanks and DPS crew finish them off, and then we could focus on Bertox himself. Ahh the good old days. Amyways, if you get on the roster. look me up. We will give the bards some deeds to sing songs about!
