Can you get alchemy to 310 by scribing books? The alchemist in PoK doesnt sell any books, where might be some?
Do you have all your AA? You can't get all the way with just books and books are other places too. Here is a list - they are cheap - just go buy and scribe them all https://www.townshiprebellion.com/tradeskill-books Here is a shopping list for recipes you need to learn. You cannot raise it by making old recipes. https://almarsguides.com/eq/tradeskills/alchemy/eok/ Or you can look thru eq traders for trivial level 310 and make those.
You can get tailoring and blacksmithing pretty high because of all the cultural book that count. Alchemy only has 2 books that have recipes that count so you will probably only get a point or 2 off them. Trivial does not matter post 300 because you aren't making the recipes you have to learn recipes, you can learn anything new from 16 to max trivial to gain skill. Almars isn't bad but it is way out of date and it's missing all the new recipes. With new recipes its needing just under 90% learned. They havent put out any new recipe books for years so nothing missing there. https://forums.daybreakgames.com/eq/index.php?threads/soulbanshees-parsers-vnext.285831/ http://eqrecipes.free.fr/
I used "/outputfile recipes alchemy" on my shaman. She doesn't have very many recipes learned. I then uploaded the file to eqrecipes.free.fr which listed only 1 tradeskill book I could buy to increase my learned recipes. And it says it will only increase it by 1. If that's correct, it doesn't look like you can even really get to 301 skill by scribing books for alchemy.
Trivial is very important until you have maxed your trophy. If you let the trivial higher than the "easy" recipe, leveling your trophy will be very difficult and/or expensive.
