I have a feeling this has already been posted about, however, there ares so many different ways to talk about this it is difficult to figure out what has been posted already. Anyway, the reward is one of seven different type 3 augmentations. According to what I have read, you have to pick which one you want. Then that's it, you have that one and can never get a another one, even if you destroy it (you can't get it again, so don't destroy it). This can be a problem for many different reasons. How about they be all added to a Lore Equipped Group and let us get them all (one per mission success)? I'm sure Darkpaw doesn't want us to be able to equip them all at once but with Lore Equipped that solves that. Of course, if they do want us to be able to equip them all at once, that would be even better! In any case, let us get them all (gotta catch them all). Thank you for your time and consideration.
I posted something similar in the test notes, it felt bugged to be one and done. Especially given that this is the year of personas.
Imagine they were changed to Lore Equipped so you could get them all (and of course only equip 1), but dunno if you can actually get multiple atm
Oh, one more thing. I had a ranger today ask me about the Specialization augs. Since rangers do not get arcane specialization, I could only guess that it would not do anything for them. However, I am unsure. Perhaps the specialization augs could get classes added to them if they don't do anything for some classes.
That's funny, ive been asking for new specialization augs for anniversary missions. Them being locked like that is craaaazy.
I've also been asked if the Defense modifier (Aug: Sapphire of Defense ID: 111802) stacks with The Tears of Alaris (ID:120399 and 120397 and more IDs if counting the lower level Tears) item.
I have only done the mission once, but from others that have done more they are just lore equipped. You can have all the options, just only use one at a time.
Was this thread moved from test or something, topic doesn't make sense. You get the augs from handing in the egg before opening chest and as Bigstomp said they are lore equipped Unless there is more augs from the achievement ?
I didn't really have any clue what I was doing the first time, so I turned in the eggs after opening the chest and that worked fine. Everyone was able to turn in the eggs after the chest was opened and get their aug reward.
I see now they are Lore Equipped Group: Gems of Proficiency. The question is can you get more than one? According to what I read, you cannot. If you claim one, supposedly the NPC tells you go away if you try to get another (even if you have destroyed it). If someone can confirm they have two (or more) of them on the same character (not using persona) then the main issue is no longer a problem. That still leaves the issue of non-specialize classes wondering if the specialize ones do anything for them, if not why is it All/All. And also if the Sapphire of Defense works with the tears of alaris augs. These are not world breaking questions but they are questions people have.
Here's my experience - I handed in eggs, in two different missions (still didn't get the achievement) and was able to get two augs (lore equipped of course). - I tried to hand into two eggs in the same mission (different toon) and was refused on the second one. Hope that helps
Need to redo mission for another aug, cannot hand in 2x in same mission. I now have the whole set, probably never going to level up personas (have not even made them) but I have augs for whenever. Did the mission only on one character
This has been answered with yes, you can if you repeat the mission. Still awaiting an answer/fix for this. It may be All/All because of personas, so that it does not have to be removed is you switch classes. I would guess the answer to if specialize does anything for non-specialize classes would be no, although that is just a guess. The answer is that the Tears of Alaris and the Sapphire of Defense do not stack, so if you have both equipped only the Sapphire of Defense will do anything. You can equip any of them with tear. With the Sapphire of Defense, the Skill Mod: Defense +10% +5 (20 Max) does not stack with the Tears of Alaris Skill Mod: Defense. If you have both equipped, only the Sapphire of Defense skill mod functions.
I am not sure exactly how to get the achievement. Ran mission last night, did the helm on named thing and defeated him. Got an egg, turned it in, got the type 3. Finished mission, opened chest, got checkmark for doing mission but not the challenge. Do you get the challenge checkmark after chest opening? Do you have to turn in eggs before you engage in named? Is it just bugged and no one gets mission challenge checkmark?
