Aren't you that guy that claims your opinions as well?! No one should bash a PvP server or make assumptions but you can bash whatever you want and all boxers are just cheating! "Sound logic", more like no logic. Go submit another article or call up Rogean as if anyone around here cares what the dictator of the server cares to say. One of the biggest things to happen for EQ PvP though, right?!?!

Did I hit a nerve? I just find it funny the same people claiming PvP will be ruined by cheats are the same people crying for a non-truebox where cheating is basically allowed.

Of course I find it lame people are bashing things and claiming it'll never work when they've literally NEVER tried PvP in EverQuest outside of maybe one duel.

Naw, if people who constantly post that all boxers are cheaters hit nerves i wouldn't have any left.

I don't agree or see your point about a standard server, because cheating is clearly being allowed on truebox.

Yeah, people on the forums never exaggerate. You literally made up that I said something I never said but yeah, I'm the one that cannot read.

100% they ban people because I have friends/guild mates who have gotten suspended/banned for running third party hax on Truebox servers, this literally never happens on non-truebox.

Sorry if I hurt your feelings about standard servers being a safe haven for cheaters and a big reason the TLP community avoids non-truebox servers, but that's just a fact.

People get suspended and banned on FV.

People also get suspended and banned on Ragefire, i have personally known some of them. They even post their logs for me and send screenshots of their ban times. Your definition of facts is grossly skewed and opinionated. Please tell me more about how i am making up the things you are saying.

Please stop using this argument as an attack against PvP servers. Cheaters ruin everything.

Finally we agree on something, come to change the topic since we literally proved the other guy is full of it and won't respond any further. Here's to getting a PvP TLP and a Standard TLP so the Manglers can stay happy, PvP can have a chance, and boxers can enjoy a server with AoC's and timed unlocks.

I don't understand where you got this idea, but the almost all of the high population WoW classic Realms are PVP.

It's really hard to "grief" someone in TLP EQ. Return home, Origin, pick zones, no CRs. Plus my idea for a "purple" server where the base pick would be PvP with bonus XP/rare spawns and other picks would be PvE only.

People don't get suspended for cheating as long as they don't bother other players on standard servers. Sure, if you're actively warping and training people you'll get suspended, no doubt. What I'm talking about is purely people running around killing names/raid targets with scripted boxes which is 100% safe on standard servers.

Its widely known that cheating is safe on standard servers. It's amazing to me that its not actually built in to the game at this point for for standard servers, because its seems like majority of the player base would prefer that.

Yeah and they were so imbalanced people begged blizzard to let them pay for server transfers.

There is millions of players on them. A small MINORITY of people "begging" them to transfer off early phase 2 because of faction imbalance with no BGs doesn't change the fact the VAST majority of players love them. Keep in mind these players only "begged" to transfer because Blizzard failed to enforce the faction balance rules that they had in Classic/TBC originally. This a decent reason not to have PVP teams, it's a really bad excuse to not have PvP all together.

I talked to the original thread creator, Hane, he's a supporter in our discord, and even he wants to change the thread but he's unable to.

When I open this thread I'm seeing new comments not stuff from over a year ago.

I really hope this thread can get fixed. While I like the idea of a big PvP thread it's a little much to cram all the recent developments into a thread started years ago.

The thread was necro'd a year after it stopped, can't really blame Dreamy for this. A new discussion could have been started with all the goodies consolidated instead of necro'ing and then making a new thread every day to swarm the forums.

Maybe the operation to smash posts together is chronological.
