Just because there wasn't active development doesn't mean it didn't take someone's time and efforts to maintain. I'm disappointed as well. I had just started working on getting the cards on my 2nd and 3rd accounts to make my quest deck, so I could do the scenarios with all three.

I'm okay with LoN loots going marketplace, as most players just used it that way anyhow rather than actually playing the game LoN. I think there's an opportunity to put quite a few of them onto older content for some incentive though too (i.e., add onto older raids, add as zonewide rares, etc.). Could also do a Casino 2.0.
Actually H1Z1 is also not doing as well as they claim. On Steam the reviews over the past 60 days are tending to Mostly negative and the constant Alpha/Beta with no release date in sight has finally turned most hopeful players away with MANY new titles and companies flooding the Survival/Zombie genre right now. Honestly I am seeing this and Columbus Nova is clearing house getting ready to sell the Everquest franchise [1, 2 and Landmark] out to anyone else and H1Z1 off to another entity and sun setting DCUO and Planetside 2
goodbye my 32,000+ cards, goodbye my 2200+ rares, goodbye my 1600+ foils, goodbye my 500+ promos, goodbye my 40+ god cards, goodbye my 20+ decks I still went into casual games and raided with, goodbye LoN
Last I heard Daybreak is a company that makes games. Has anyone seen them make something new yet? Or are they just killing games at a record pace since being shucked off by Sony? I really want to believe that the Everquest franchise isn't coming to an end, and what I've seen in the last year really doesn't do anything to make me believe it. Seriously, EQ Next should have been the latest and greatest, and instead it got the axe, and they rushed out Landmark so that tons of people who invested in those founders packs wouldn't bust out the pitchforks. I has a massive sad.
Actually, maybe it's not too late... Put LoN in the hands of the players. There are those passionate and creative enough to keep it a viable entity. This will be of no cost to you. Edit: As a matter of fact, I did also suggest years ago to try and integrate LoN as a facebook game, which could have yielded many, many more EQ players in the process, especially with Free-to-Play accounts available. Gee, I wish I owned a company where the community gave free advice...

another thing to think about is the LoN items that require 3 specific items in order to obtain a bonus like Hermit Hideaway House there are few other mercs etc
all the doom theories Might as well tell you daybreak is developing 2 or more untitled projects so they're not going anywhere.
Can we at least go out on a better monthly scenario than "Big Game Hunting"? Moonfang is cute and all, but worthless in practical terms. I know we just did the Chalandria scenario last month, but I'd rather see that again, or any other scenario with a useful reward.
