TDS Off Raid 1 Tita's Ghost

This of course makes sense.
You need 4 x Arx 1 kills to be able to do the Arx 2+ raids. You have stated quite clearly that your guild didn't clear it's lock out in order to get more attempts on Ghost.

I have been posting evidence that your guild is clearing it's lock out timers 3 days prior to Beta ending.

Now either RoI had not flagged it's members for Arx #2 with only 3 days of beta remaining. Or they are "clear"ing to get in more attempts on Ghost.

I know which. But it seems their own guild members do not.

I can go back and dig in the log to find how many times we tried it. But I get the idea that you will know better than I do what my guild does because... Who knows why. But really why this conspiracy about the first one off raid? It's like you're accusing us of not wiping our shoes before entering a building or something else equally as petty. I don't get it at all.

My fault probably. Of which I apologize as I really didn't mean it to be.

Its because the 1 Off Raid is way way overtuned.

Because of that, people beat it using DA, Pets, which started the whole diatribe into the whole thats an exploit, that's cheesy, that's against raid design, thats dedication if you want to spend an hour to beat 1 raid.

When that debate came up I pointed out 1 offs were designed for 1 attempt a cycle. So any extra attempts were against the design (like DA, like Pet Tanking). Which against design or not, shows some dedication to clear extra raid or not.

And this thread is people fixating so much on thier "pet" issue like DA on pages 2/3 and Lockout Timers on 4/5 that the point of what any one person says is okay/not gets like weeds.

That it keeps losing the fact that this raid is poorly tuned.

I think we tried this event once at the end of beta, got plowed by 45k hitting adds, went LOL! and then did something more productive. Like telling people a 50th time that they need to zone after clearing lockouts.

Beating it on live is an entirely organic process that doesn't take tons of tries on ironing out a plan. Any of the guilds who have beaten it can vouch for that.
Goal #1: Win.
Goal #2: Win faster and cleaner.
Goal #3: Win fast enough to spend more time doing random missions while drunk in vent..

And yeah, this raid is still severely overtuned for any kind of encounter, especially a one-shot.

So at any rate, I guess what I'm trying to say is: Yes, we did marathon test-run events #1-4 ROFLROFLROFLROFLROFL and not One-Off #1 ROFLROFLROFLROFLROFL, so if you would be so kind to hop off of our disco sticks and move onto another thread to troll we'd all appreciate it ROFLROFLROFLROFLROFLROFL. When and if you ever get to these raids you can come back and thank us and the other guilds for clearing timers, testing these raids and submitting at least some of the bugs that probably were the difference between possible and impossible events on Live.

And I suppose the constructive part (to get back on topic) is: Yes, some serious tuning does need to happen, but have some legit crowd control and proactive tanks/healers that can all do their jobs incredibly well and you'll be surprised how workable this raid can become.

That is exactly right. We tested Tita's Ghost with Dzarn. Apparently, we made it look too easy, so he tuned it up. We came back by ourselves at a later date and made only 1 attempt after it was tuned up. We wiped, but we learned everything we needed to know in that 1 attempt.

Right, to clear lockouts to beat event 1 again to get keys to get to the later events to test them further. Like the clear function was implemented for.
