    Does anyone chance it?

Has anyone found it worth it?

Anyone care to share some experiences?

I'm a 103CR Tank, I never random queue into T5. T4 can be tricky if you don't get at least one healer and one troller. T3 and T2 are usually not a problem. If you are upper level T5, you shouldn't have a problem with T2 or T3 either and would be hit or miss for you as well.

Never a good idea to que in to an 8 person instance IMO unless it's low end content and you can practically solo it anyway or for instance if there's say 4 or 5 of us from league we'll que up Unpaid or Seeds since your unable to walk in, it's a win win situation for all, we get to run the operation for whatever reason we might be in there and the pugs that que get a free easy ride for whatever reason there in there for.
From what I've observed it's usually the solo players that don't know or haven't been taught to really play the game at it's full potential and are to afraid to shout for groups for the very same reason.

I know a couple of people who queue into end game content. Come to think of it, maybe that's one of the main sources where people on these forums talk about experiencing kicking and confrontation. I'm saying this because I've heard quite a few stories from friends who queue into AB, Nexus, and Paradox. Apparently, there is a tendency for a lot of yelling and arguing.

This isnt bad to do for T2 raids.

FOS raids is acceptable too, just you may need to be ready to do some serious pulling.

Anything higher, I would recommend against it.

Keep in mind that many players actually do Q up for these raids by themselves to join any old group because they are very well-geared and just need a few warm bodies to get it done. Im not saying you are guaranteed good players by any means, but if you ARE a good player and well-geared, you are almost certainly going to have a fine run.

If I need a FOS2 run, I would put it in my que, then que and run my solo iconic anomalies while I wait. Usually you'll find a que pops in between your other runs.

Its not a bad way at all for top-tier players to complete lower raids for style runs.

I am a CR103 healer, and I que up for all of it, and I enjoying pugging most of the raids. Granted, t5 ques are sometimes easily a fail group, but then you just pull out the popcorn and watch the other 7 fight about whose fault it is.

Except that they will fight for 30 minutes or more as they yell at and kick each other. It can also turn a single raid into a multi-hour affair. Now that I know better, I avoid Qing for raids like the plague, with the exception of the first ones (most T5's can practically carry a group through), and FOS 3, since that is so short when done right. If I'm going to spend hours on a raid, it had better be for a good reason... :)

FOS1 isn't bad either if you run as damage role. FOS2 can be doable if you're like Deathmike and can solo it, but I'm not that good either; plus it took him most of the day to do, so I don't think it would be worth it if I was that good.

Random que into fos1, fos3, all batcaves except inner. No kahn. Sometimes que Vengence, because all of those I que in I can pretty much solo but want it to go by a little faster.

I have been chancing the Q system for T1-T4 raids a lot lately, but usually only as dps. I have to say its pretty amazing how many players at the T3/T4 level are completely clueless about their role. Been in a bunch of groups w/ people who will blindly attack anything they can along the way...even after the rest of the group progresses to the next area. Its a turret bro...its ok...move along, it can't attack you after you walk past it. Even had a few DPS comment - that guy only out did my damage because he's OP Rage/Celestial...yet it couldn't have possibly been the fact that Im way higher geared then them. Gotta love the community.

All it takes in a queued FOS 2 run is a bad escort run for all arguing to break lose, so I tend to avoid it. Plus for some reason I was getting groups of people who were trying to not split up during the part of the raid where you are supposed to, ya know split up :p

I que up every t2 - t3 raid but FoS3. I also que Gates, Seeds and Unpaid. I will que Nexus but no other t5. A&B will be queable soon. I don't que Prime and FoS3 for the simple reason you need a competent group or it's no fun.

I do have tons of fun being the only troll in the raid. Thoe I do que up all my toons this way.

If your not just a DPS ques don't last long. Get some gear and a second (atleast) armoury.

I have encountered all types of players this way. I have taught many players how to run these raids as well this way.

Fun story, I was the only troll in a sub-con run I qued up for. I power these guys the entire time. after the 2nd try at the boss I needed to repair. So I type in Group Chat 'NEED TO REPAIR BRB'. On my way back they kicked me. I just thought to myself, good luck getting another troller and good luck getting by Brainiac.
There was a DPS wearing vestments as well and I ran into him a few days later in another qued raid. Seeds I think. I told him about it and he just laughed as he told me about the fail that proceeded after they kicked me.

With the gear most of us have why not que up for a challange.

I que all instances except for raids. I wasted waaaaaaay too much time learning that lesson shortly after I started playing the game.

    I wouldnt ever randomly Q

We wanted to run AnB and only had 7 people a few weeks ago so we said, "ahh screw it, lets see if anyone is crazy enough to Q solo" and it popped immediately...We got some girl who was relatively new and when we asked her how often she actually gets through it she said "ive been in here 15 times and never gotten past the 2nd boss"

I wasnt shocked at all...Randomly Q'ing up is like saying, "Please waste my time, I love not getting any content done"
  18. Ice Lantern New Player

I've done it a couple of times but only for low-tier content. It's worked out but you shouldn't expect quality players. I would never queue up for current content. You're just asking to waste your time.

Me and some friends do a so called Raid Roulette sometimes. We queue up for any eight man content and wait what we get. Here's my experience with it:
    • I'm on USPC-Villain side
    • The shortest time we had to wait was ten minutes, the longest an hour
    • The groups were mostly un-organized (roles, people not understanding how to complete it)
    • Longest on-going raid we've joined was a FoS-2 on 230+ minutes
    • We completed most of the Tier 5 raids except EO (herp)
    • We usually had lots of fun
You should give it a try if you are bored and up for some challenge. We had our share of fun :)
