Well it has just become official for me, after running Sub (yes I know it's only sub) against another full T4 HL DPS I am no longer ever going to put the strafing run back in my load out. With him spamming what looked like RSF the entire raid and strafing run on the boss. I was running the load out I talked about on the previous forum, I not only did 100k more damage but I was also able to keep my power-in the same as his. I've run this load out for the past few weeks and some how dont most power in. Only problem and I'm sure most of you know this is being in melee range brings tons of damage your way so watch out. Oh another thing is I've been wondering is if out damage is based on a curve am I'm pretty sure it is, where full precision might be on the down side of the slope. I could be wrong but look into it. I'm thinking the top of the curve is where you can get your might to over 2000 with the neck mod. You guys with full Norseman gear might be gettin over 2000 might already I just don't know I don't have a full set yet.
Lately I have switched to AAA ( ram-whip/c-hc) and my damage has increased by a lot. The reason? I have done and re-done the math and it's solid BUT AAA does 360 degree damage so does WD and so does LW. FFF are conic and soils RSF. Equipping a melee brawler weapon helps a lot too. I am writing these notes in the strategies section. Thanks for the heads up SG.
So your going with like a 1hand now over the rifle? What about the phantom triangle? Thanks for reposting your guide on the new forums btw.
When I was HL the last rotation I did was WD-ram-whip/claw/Hclaw/WD/weapon Repeat My hands Hurt much more doing FFF combo and I felt was less power hungry. Weapon of choice was staff cause of larger aoe than brawling. As far as modding goes I would try to be around 650-700/1900s might
Thank you I will try this out. So with AAA you do ram-wt-wd then claw hold claw with brawling correct? What about a 1hander till I get the brawling drop. I use fff with rifle and have been unbeatable for a while now except every now and then when I run up against a clown box spamming sorcery dps lol.
Have you noticed any real damage increase with blaster adapter mod? I noticed with the little bit of testing I did it proc'd onto my weapon damage but you have to pay close attention because it is not listed in the combat log, it just adds more damage onto your white based damage when it does proc.
Of course anything to help, Looks like you remember what I posted in the other forum lol I'm keeping it a secret from my HL league mates who think they can keep up with me, ya it being posted here but it's not fully out if the bag.
OMAAR my man that's like all i do now (Minus the WD because of flight). I've been running it for a solid week straight now. I tried Ram Whip ST fan, but my fingers and powerbar kept giving out. Ram WT C HC is my comfort zone combo for now. I fill in with my staff combo when i need to go easy on the power.
Sadly it is extremely weak and IMO more pvp oriented. I'll re-check again tonight. But I'm equipping the. Absorbance mod currently. And even if it hit twice for 100 , 200/60= 3 dps increase
since AAA doesn't use the phantom triangle, why use brawling instead of other melee weapons? wouldnt any melee weapon suffice for the 15% crit damage increase? or do you prefer brawling in case you ever wanna use the other combos? ie: when you have to stay ranged.
