Fire Dps help ST / AOE

    Hey guys I’m a returning fire player .. I’m looking to improve my damage for ST and AOE… I only have 386 skill points.


    AOE - 1.inferno 2. Spontaneous combustion 3. Fire burst 4. Overheat 5. Mass detonation 6. Volcanic calamity
    Trans , strat , solar

    ST - 1. Overheat 2. Absorb heat 3. Snuff out 4. Amplified heat vision 5. Robot sidekick 6. Neo-venom boost
    Trans , strat , Quislet

    I'm guessing you mixed up which artifacts you use when-- there's no Amplified Heat Vision without Solar Amp.

    Fireball Barrage generally does a lot more damage than Volcanic Calamity. If you can get close enough for Fireburst, you're close enough for all or most of your Fireballs to hit.

    Spontaneous Combustion is generally better than Overheat in all cases. It does more damage in 6 seconds than Overheat does in 12. It has that annoying dovetail though. Robot Sidekick does stupid strong damage these days-- I try to keep it on my load out bar.

    For ST: Amplified Heat Vision > Absorb Heat > Snuff Out > Repeat, RSK (Robot Sidekick), Immolation (I always have a Shield and Fire ST is really just those 3 back to back), Fireball Barrage. Strat, Trans, Solar. If you're Superspeed you can "speed dash" during Absorb Heat for positioning, especially useful for getting in and out of near melee range for Fireball Barrage to hit on all projectiles.

    For AoE, Fire has a lot of options. My favorite atm is 1: Inferno 2: Wildfire 3: Flame Cascade 4: Robot Sidekick 5: Immolation 6: Fireball Barrage. Rotation is something like 1,2,3,3,2,3,3,1,2,3,3. Basically a priority list, if it's off cooldown then use it 1 to 3. It does almost the same as the one I altered (Rick Rex Gaming on Youtube) but he had.. I think it was Overheat on 3, Flame Cascade on 4 and RSK on 5. But I always have a Shield so I can press cogs or do pickups. Arts are Strat, Trans, Quislet.

    Allies on ST are Krypto as combat (HoL Bot does like 5% more on adds/sparring targets, Krypto does like 5% more on Bosses + Doggo factor makes Krypto 10x better) Batman Who Laughs and Shazam both passive 1. I don't have access to test, I don't know if Zatanna is better than Shazam, but I'll be damned if I level a 5th Legendary and add more rng at that.

    Allies on AoE are Superman as Combat, Batman Who Laughs and Shazam both passive 1.

    Well, I use solar amp on both my ST and AOE even though my AOE doesn't use heat vision. However, at 200 solar amp has empowered channeling built in and works for mass det and fire burst. That frees up the hand mod for max damage. I assume the OP is doing the same but I dunno.

    Depends. Generally yes (if you only have certain artifacts or not fully levelled artifacts), but if you have artifacts up at rank 200 including Transformation Card, Ebon and Pied Piper's Flute, swap in Flute before using Volcanic Calamity, Volcanic Calamity with Flute proc is one of the strongest Might supercharges there is currently, ST and/or AOE. Of course it's a 10k SC so that is a drawback. (This is of course if you have several artifacts to play with)
