I decided to reset it 5 times and didn't get a damn thing. I got the 300 essence feat done now but still need to make 3 more gen mods.

why ppl think there is ANYTHING RANDOM about the drops is just.......

Right cause OP collections didn't used to exist before olympian. You just got dropped the OP gear on occasion which was not a feat just a happy occurrence to help your character along.

I am just wondering why a guy who actually has the gloves is on these forums complaining about it as if they are impossible to obtain? Apparently they are not too rare , and that would mean that you are running those characters just because you either want to complete it a second time for an alt or to make money. Exactly what I figured.

Many people also believe that wearing the OP back style gives everyone a better chance at getting drops. Which I thought was the dumbest thing ever considering I got that within the first week of AoJ being released, and I wore the style every single day months before that rumor was ever started. I also heard that it was the belt, wearing all three, and eating at least half a cactus every morning would help your chances as well.

The exact same week that people came up with that "Halloween items" conspiracy I received 16 drops towards OP collections, and I know of several others who seemed to be getting them despite getting the Halloween items. You still get the same Halloween garbage when you get an OP drop. The first person I saw throw that theory out there was also a person I saw bragging about how they made hundreds of millions off AoJ without even having that feat. They did not even care about the actual drops. They just can't stand to see others making the money they wish that they could have. Exactly my point. The childish "me me me" focus. Not directing that at you despite the quote. However, you're officially the second person to post in this topic acting like the drops are messed up, and openly admitted that you received it. At least the other guy tried to hide it. Me? The guy defending them and all. I once again PAID for almost every single one of them. They are supposed to be a rare occurrence. That is the point.

There is a special boss in the AoJ Elite raids that comes out if someone in the group is wearing the OP back style. If you defeat that boss, collections drop. That's not a rumour...if you look at the feat list for AoJ you'll see that for the Ultimate Victory feat (I believe that's the name) you have to make that boss come out.

a rare occurrence huh. so, tell me. in the 4+ years iv been playing. I have had 3, count em 3 op "drops" before the new "buy your op drops" came out. just 4 years of bad luck??? I don't think so.

said it before. ill keep saying it. for the most part. its the people that spend money that get the good stuff. and yes. I know a lot of people on this game. many are gone now. but, 90% of them that spend the big bucks. get the good drops. all the time. the ones like me. that spend very little. get very little back. simple as that!!!!!

there is very little "random" in the drops. DBG telling you its all random. is like the casino saying they have a 99.9% return on there slots...

Yes it seems to be a rare drop. 5 alts running everyday and another 3 or so running a few times a week. Have not seen it drop yet for me. League mate had had it dropped twice, he was nice enough to pass the second one along to me so I could get the hands. Now we are hoping to get it to drop for us for other league mates.
MY opinion had always been some items drop for certain accounts better then others. While I get my fair share of op collection drops I usually miss the one or two expensive ones but end up with my fair share of all the other ones.
I hope to get on average 1or 2 a day from all my runs. And that usually is about the average.

I am aware of that. I was not referring to that. I have literally seen people shouting in LFG asking for someone who had the OP back to run War Crimes and Saving Justice with them. I am a nice guy so I did it for them. They did not get a single thing. No one did.

People that pay money are spending resets to replay the content multiple times. Each of those times is on a single character usually, and thus the odds for that single character are far higher then just running it on alternate characters. With Riddled With Crime I did not get a single OP drop until I started using my replay badges. Regardless of any of that though. I do believe that some characters are more lucky then others. My brother in law has all the same feats that are supposed to increase your chances. Divine Favor, Sori Not Sori, the AoJ one, and the RWC one. He is in the same boat as you. All he has received is a single digit numbers worth. He never gets the aura drops from seasonal events. He only runs on the one character, has spent his free replays, and runs it all every single day. There is no way to prove this theory but I know that I have characters who have got the boo-tility belt 3-4 times, and others who never got a single one. I have characters that get all the nice stuff out of The Vault and have things that I cannot get on my main that definitely runs it every single day. Sure it sucks. I just remind myself of the definition of rare:

I know what your saying. but. what you just said just gos to show. it is NOT random. and yes, the more you spend. the better your odds of getting the good stuff. but, people that spend a lot and then stop when they get crap. will keep getting crap. people that keep spending, will get the drops. TC'S or content drops. like I said. this is from people iv know for years that spend. and don't spend. and its always the same. the more you spend. the better your drops. the less you spend. well, you know where I'm going.

and yes. there is the lucky player here and there.

This is gonna sound like yet another "conspiracy theory" but, has anyone else noticed this? I seem to only get rare/gold collections on the first run (whether it be Duo, Alert, Raid, etc...) after weekly reset, when I spend replays, I get zilch...

i collect what i collect so many collections going back years and boxes and places and tiers...dont even give a crap anymore done playing collector youll never get them all...having said that how about a collection room in our lair...most collection pieces are objects...supposedly real objects you could put on display...you could proudly show your friends your flaming feather finally...yeah...thats the ticket...

Idea: 10% better chance at rare collection piece for ever DLC past relevance you are from the DLC the collection piece comes from.
