All Base Shield Multipliers Ranked

Got a BSM of 2.52 in tank role with Immolation. tested with manta bombs. Got the same BSM (1.52) for Immolation in dps role.

I have a question about shield´s and Mystic Symbol, we know that one increases our defense, but for example ice tanks have their shields, so i wanna know if the Mystic symbol reduces de damage that is taken by shield´s by rising our defense or that bonus is only when we loose a shield and we have only our defense to survive, I think is the second option, but if somebody can help me with this i would be grateful.

To answer your question, Yes, when you have a shield active and are hit you will gain the bonus defense from M7 effect. Defense will lower how much damage you take overall but has no effect on how much damage the shield can asorb. That is strictly linked to your stats and the BSM of the shield used.
