For people who are having a heck of a time getting logged in, be aware that there are massive issues with the login servers, and even if you did get in, the servers are probably unavailable in the US as of roughly 8 pm pst.
It appears to be the login of all services since I had troubles logging into my DB account in order to write this reply. Last time I checked, the EU servers are down as well, but whatever it is, it seems to not only affect the logins but the ps2 live and servers as well since booting up the live and test client seems to be impossible atm.
well frack, they seem to have gone down 5 mins before I came in here to play :-| looks like its the login service. servers are showing as up: http://www.planetside-universe.com/server_status.php
I was able to log in and despite planetside.com and psu reporting the servers as up they are indeed "unavailable"
