I am writing this thread about SOE and the Pre-Season "Competition" which has turned into a somewhat unfair "competition". When someone starts a competition it is assumed that the rules wont change to the degree that "It is harder for a winner to hold their lead". That is like chopping the legs off the leader of a race and saying it was because they were too far ahead. I am not opposing the point system change in anyway, but when they extended the preseason competitions duration by one week ensure a, "Fair fight" which seems unnecessary and completely pointed at the leader of the world domination series Pre-Season and will still not help the servers which have the dominating population of that server such as Connery with VS, Mattherson VS, and Briggs with TR, the point system should not be "100 points a facility" no matter what and to even do the UI update and falsely display the scores in the same update as them changing the point system so the UI did not change with the new point system so it shows a facility as only 20 points a capture (instead of 100), is really not acceptable. SOE get your stuff together and not rig the Pre-Season event. your ruining everyone's game experience that worked hard to do well in this Pre-Season event. we need some sort of mediation you cannot extend a competition AND change how the point system works so many times and to the degree that the winner has no chance against over pop on other servers.
