Why does my spawn beacon keep disappearing?

I sat there and watched it, it disappeared in less than 30 seconds upon placing it. Other squad beacon was miles away.

This may be a dumb question, but did anyone else in the squad place a beacon, regardless of distance?

Yes, don't tell me only one beacon can be active lol.

That's exactly the case. It's called a squad beacon, after all. If you need more, you can split your squad into a platoon. Each squad in the platoon will have their own.

I know why it's called a squad beacon. The original squad beacon was invented by Dice for their 2142 battlefield game. For balance reasons only the squad leader could place down the bacon.

This is a funny way to cook squad bacon.

PlanetSide 2's system allows you to restrict who can place beacons, if desired it can be SL only.

Why did they change it, there was nothing wrong with it.
