If I use a sniper rifle (which is once in a blue moon) the default pistol is more than adequate. If I use an SMG (always), Flare Gun: it's so satisfying to kill someone with it.
So I got a little time in with my lowbie TR alt and finally put my Repeater to use. Wow. Mowed down two heavies in a straight up 1v2 firefight with that thing. Me likey.
