No offense but I would rather delete my main character than fight for the NC, especially since I'd rather try to at least fix the problem rather than just hop faction. Honestly though I feel like Waterson would be better for everyone after most of the BRITs leave the game to follow whatever game TB is hyping up next.
I believe you are mistaking the form communism truly takes in the political spectrum. Communism is a far cry from hippie communes. I would love to sink my teeth a little more into this discussion but to do so would make us spin off in a tangent and derail a portion of this thread. I won't abandon the server... I might abandon the game for a while. This is not the only action around. Let TB have his shallow victory with 2-3 to 1 odds in his favor. No matter how you spin it... it won't be worth a thing in those circumstances. Bringing in huge numbers is fine... but are they new players... new subs... or just more folks who are rerolling from other servers to support TB? The latter is my bet. Maybe NC and VS should start a community effort NOT to login on the day of the 'battle'... send a clear message to SOE what we think of this travesty at the expense of addressing the balance issues or any grief really. Let TR be 10 to 1... Let them hold all 3 continents for 24 hours? Let them sit and look with nothing to shoot at other than themselves... think SOE and TB will get the message- that the community feels the game has more immediate issues? Can't think of bigger statement we could make without actually abandoning the game entirely. Transfers and mergers are on the horizon... we'll just have to wait until they get this 'event' out of the way. There are other games that came out with expansions about the time this one Launched...could be a good time to play something else. I'm about ready for a holiday from hackers and idiocy.
From what I've seen in game it's for sure the former not the latter. Whenever my outfit bros see some of the BRITs try to play on their own we joke how we'd think these guys would at least know how to play considering how much they probably watch TB's videos.
Considering the Faction Allegiance that so many people espouse and that the game itself pushes, I can't believe how much self-bashing the TR are doing here.

Nah he had this prepared and everyone within audio range could hear him. Didn't hear a word he said cause of the aircraft engines but everyone else on the VOIP cheered something when he was dun and the whole tank column (which I guess would be a full armoured battalion IRL - 30 or so tanks were there) set off. Then my internet crapped out.

Not hard. His outfit, BRIT, is more of a detriment to the TR than it is an aid. As an NC, it has gone beyond being funny and has become painful to see that fail-boat scuttle itself wherever it goes.
At first I was happy with the way TR were performing and the population here. Then the TotalBuscuit **** had a outfit of a lot of horrible people that Zerg then log off and not defend anything. Not to mention TotalBuscuit is bad at this game. I like my faction but I do not like it on Waterson. But this is where my outfit plays and I have a lot of time spent on my soldier.
Most players are bad, TR just has more. Pretty sure most people don't really want TB to be on this server, they just inflate the numbers without really adding much substance. That being said, i've seen and been part of TR taking over all three plantets twice. I've yet to see any other faction do it (though it is entirely possible since i've been away during most of Christmas.) DVS is hardly any better than BRIT, by the way... aside from the fact that they are more organized and less of mindless mob. DVS is 20% doing 80% of the work.
