Was in a biolab fight this morning on Cobalt. Saw a BR98 TR using a wall hack/exploit and was killing VS in droves using a Tengu from beneath the biolab floor. Several people reported him and it'll be obvious from his killboard that he was cheating (dozens, possibly hundreds of VS kills with a fairly close range weapon - closely spaced in time with no deaths). Hopefully he'll get banned pretty quick. Looking at his stats - he only has a 0.9 k/d - so it looks like cheating is probably a new thing. Why risk losing months of effort on a BR98 character just to get a few cheap kills?
Not everybody cares about BR. The only thing it does is show you how much time (or money) you've put into the game. For some people playing games is just to pass the time and the time spent building up their characters is meaningless. It's the same with high-ranked players who stat pad. It doesn't accomplish anything, and with fisu's Padder's League they're easily caught. Personally I see no point, but some people will repeatedly offend after being caught because they simply do not care.
