    turning down your settings for an advantage is a scummy thing to do..

    it kicks performance in the teeth if you don't have the rig for it (its doubling your resolution and then making it fit your screen) but with a decent rig it should still run smooth, i've only ever set it to 2.0, but perhaps it could go way higher :p
