Variable zoom

    So in the future we are still using solid state scopes with real glass optics?

    Or would some bright lad @ vanu R&D realize that a scope with variable zoom capabilities would be not only feasible but a definitive improvement upon existing 10 century old solid state technology.

    im still curious as to why vehicles opics are only x3:eek:

    doesnt make any sense lol.

    I own alot of guns, and all of my rifles (save 1 im working on ATM) have optics that magnify by 4 or more. most of them are 3-9's or 12-24's. but apparently in the future, glass is extremely difficult to mold?

    variable optics would be nice.

    I have the x2.5 for the dalton and its almost to much
    That and it shakes abhorrently when your moving in the slightest b/c apparently gyroscopic stabalisers are something the vanu never invented either

    I wish Sniper scopes allowed for zoom capability.

    We have that technology now but in this weird alternative future we can figure out how to make vehicles hover but not how to move a lens in a scope with a dial...

    I agree: 2.5 are far enouth for dalton.
    I run with it and 1.75 with tanks.

    More, it's unbearable at medium range.
    Less, no solutions for long distances.
