Please try again in 20-30 minutes. been getting this since yesterday. cleared the cache folder ,disabled my ZoneAlarm antivirus and firewall, reset my router to default settings, re installed the bloody game, did everything. but still doesn't work. OK so i finally figured it out ! Uninstalling Planetside 2 and posting some negative but true, comments on Planteside 2 reviewers sites and youtube vids, seems to solve this issue. Off to another game. Great job DayBreakGames, since you bought SOE the game doesn't stop flourishing.
I deleted all files & folders related to Planetside2 in: C:\Users\username\AppData\LocalLow\Sony Online Entertainment\Digests A note about checking if this is the cause: Check Planetside 2 main directory for a file called .DownloadError. scroll to the end of that file if there it says some smeg about "BadDigestSig" eg. , Thu Feb 22 22:32:04 3102: BadDigestSig - HTTP::Exception::UnhandledResponse: Moved Permanently (301 - 198.105.244.69) - http://manifest.patch.station.sony....ivecommon/live/planetside2-livecommon.sha.soe Now, the Dark Age of Kali Yuga has come. ... Do not wander lost in doubt and delusion Or something of that sort, then the above is the solution to correcting this problem. Some people may also need to delete their PlanetSide 2\LaunchPad.libs\LaunchPad.Cache folder too and then you'll have to put in your username and pass again on launch. Hope this helps.

hi, i getting this error all day long, waiting so long for playing PS2. I did the 9VoltChiken solution but still the same error occur. Yesterday i logged and played normally. I think this problem is widerage, just not only few people. So please fix this ASAP. Thannk a for great game !

An update may be in progress" 1/ Open Task Manager, find LaunchPad.exe then "End task" this process. 2/ Delete all content in 2 directory : C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\PlanetSide 2\LaunchPad.libs\LaunchPad.Cache C:\Users\<YOUR PC USERNAME>\AppData\LocalLow\Daybreak Game Company\Digests 3/ Open C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc, copy the host file to somewhere, then open that host file and add this link : 64.37.169.11 manifest.patch.daybreakgames.com After that, copy back that edited version to etc folder (overwrite it) NOTICE : "manifest.patch.daybreakgames.com" is RIGHT "manifest.patch.station.sony.com" is WRONG 3/ Open Control Panel\Network and Internet\Network and Sharing Center. Click on Wifi Connection >> Propeties >> IPV4 >>> Change the DNS to OpenDNS 208.67.222.222 207.67.220.220 4/ Open Launpad again and you maybe good to go. This WorkAround is not my complete seft-made. I google the solution around from other sweet guy, tried every single of them then combine to a single solution, thanks to all of you and hope this help !
Gee, is that all? So... simple. Didn't work anyway. It couldn't get from steam (and you can't use any other internet either).

I'm sure that fix may well work but franky i can't be bothered, just gonna wait for daybreak to fix it, not my job to do that.
This works Great. Daybreak better fix this though. The game had another update it needed and that is why it wouldn't connect. Game isn't worth the trouble though. Pay to kill game. Weapons haven't increased nor has the game been fixed in 4 years.
I filed a ticket this worked for me Ray C. (Daybreak Games) Sep 26, 3:23 PM PDT I'd like you to delete some of the files associated with the Launchpad cache. Go to your game's folder and find the file "Launchpad-user.ini" and delete it. Then, open the launchpad.libs folder, then delete the folder named launchpad.cache. Then, go to C:\Users\%USERPROFILE%\AppData\LocalLow and delete the entire "Daybreak Game Company" and "Sony Online Entertainment" folders. (These folders are flagged as "Hidden" - you will need to enable the "View Hidden Files and Folders" option in the Folder Options menu of your Windows Explorer) After that, try accessing the game once again
Tried that. Now I'm getting the 4-04 message. (and it;s obviously not my firewall or antivirus because until i did the above, it was getting to the login screen).
