It’s better to have ten wolves then a hundred sheep – Sgt. Follvell, (retired Starwolf veteran) Starwolf is a Vanu Sovereignty outfit that originates from the European Werner server in Planetside. We’ve always been a small-medium sized outfit that combines a friendly atmosphere with teamwork and it’s no different in Planetside 2. So far we’ve used a “friends and family invites only” policy. Still, we’ve reached a point that we want to expand, and that is why we are now recruiting. As an outfit we are not locked into a specific playstyle, but bring whatever is needed for a specific target. This means that one moment we’ll be dropping an infantry squad behind enemy lines and next we’re bring a Sunderer filled with AA MAXes to the front line. We dislike all-out zerging, and try to avoid it where possible. Instead we focus on the smaller fights where we can make a difference. Who are we looking for? We’re looking for dedicated VS players that play not for certs or K/D ratio or other useless stats, but for the glory of the empire. Your skill package is irrelevant; Your personality is what matters most and we’ll try to fit your skills, whatever they may be, into our outfit. We don’t restrict our members in how they want to play: Play the class and use the vehicles you prefer, as long as it supports the outfit and the current goal. We enforce a minimum age of 18, but ideally you’re 30+ of age. The average age in the outfit is well over 30, so we prefer to have people in the same age bracket that understand that you cannot be online 24/7 and that gaming takes a backseat to family, children and other real life priorities. Because of this we also have no required play times: You log on when you want to play. We do have two outfit nights (Mondays and Thursdays) that everybody tries to be online. These evenings are not mandatory to join, but it’s still highly recommended. When you do log on, you commit yourself to the outfit. You follow orders, work as a team and above all: Remember to have fun. So what do we ask of a new recruit? - Doesn’t give a **** about certs, K/D ratio and similar ****** stats. - Able to follow orders without hesitation and work in a full-time team environment - 18+ of age required, 30+ of age preferred - Teamspeak 3 installed and working. Microphone preferred but not required, listening required. - Able to speak/type and understand English What we have to offer: - Teamplay: Even if there are just two people online, we squad up and get organized in one way or the other. Every night is outfit ops in this outfit. - We don’t enforce specific playtimes/days. You log on when you feel like playing. - Two outfit nights (Mondays and Thursdays) - Variety: We are not a dedicated Infantry, tank or air outfit. We use what the situation requires. - We allow you to play the way you like, if it supports the squad. - A pet TR on a short leash. He still bites, but is housebroken.
