Sunderer movement

    - Sunderers need racer to outrun tanks and harassers and get somewhere quick.
    - Sunderers have terrible turning with racer.
    - & sunderers aren't able to hike a hill to save their life.

    Sunderers with gunners can out DPS tanks and harassers. If you have engineer passengers you can outpace the damage with repairs.

    & that's only for 1vs1's.

    I wouldn't bet on a sunderer for 1vs1's. The sunderer has to be fully exposed to hit the tank; if your not near a hill.
    The tank gets to take pod shots behind a log. The sunderer is slow.

    It's like saying a harasser can kill a tank, then most harasser only get killstreaks from infantry.

    The ultimate test of this, was seeing that the battle bus only stood equal ground verse enemy Lightnings.
    For Koltyr. Yet if Koltyr had harassers and mbt's, then the battle bus wouldn't have equal opportunity.

    You simply don't see lone wolf sunderers with bounties. Possible. Unlikely.

    The question is why do you need a sunderer to be good solo?

    If it goes off by itself and finds itself up against a tank or harasser? Why shouldn't it be easily killed?

    If you're a solo looking to fight vehicles, you are better off with a max stealth viper lightning. A full volley to the back of a tank sets it on fire and you can get the second volley off before it can kill you.

    Now double bulldog or double fury sunderers can take on solo MBT's and harassers. 2 sunderers running those guns as well as nanite proximity repair can wreck armor columns but for fewer players, four, instead of the 6 you need with the double rep sundy, you can run 2 pelter valks and do MUCH more damage against ground vehicles and take less return fire if any at all.

    The biggest problem this game has is they added vehicles that ruined the original balance and they further went on to make the vehicles capable of everything but good at nothing.

    The valkyrie made all the other aircraft obsolete. It's better at air to ground than ESF's and liberators and its maneuverability give sit more survivability than a liberator and the separate nose gunner gives it more time on target than a lib belly gun or an ESF pilot. All your outfits use valks to make even the sunderer obsolete for spawning and transport.

    The harasser is superior to armor. The fury grenade launcher out DPS's tanks because a good driver will be able to dodge some of the return fire and with stealth the harasser will always get the first volley advantage, likely to the rear armor. It can climb hills to escape from danger and quickly repair up.

    If it's wide open and flat terrain, other ground vehicles don't stand a chance, the harasser just drives in circles at long range while the gunner fires the halberd and there's no danger to being hit by return fire.

    Before the developers broke the guidance on it, the VLG on the valk was the best harasser killer because the harasser can't dodge the shots. Pelters can still do the job but take a bit more skill.

    It can drive into enemy bases where tanks can't and use anti infantry weapons to farm infantry while retreating around corners to repair. It's the only ground vehicle that can keep up with the meta of mass redeploys and drop from valks.

    1) You're worried about sunderers reigning supreme for 1vs1's? Roaming like some lone wolf? With a bounty.

    Well it hasn't happened ever. So lets see. Sunderers have always been the punching bag for tanks.
    Even if you had 1 guy repairing, the bus just gets shot by a 2nd tank out of nowhere.
    You can't repair and move. The move start speed is slow. You're dead.




    2) Now since rumble seats are taken away, Harassers are also the punching bags for tanks and we've seen Harasser driver #'s drop by 40% for many months after they took rumble seats off. Lately their starting to return.

    What did they get in return? the same amount of tank drivers; if not more tank drivers; when their was already plenty of tank drivers before rumble seats. A million Magriders with bounties, since obviously Prowlers & Vanguards are too average, verse the average Magrider driver.

    So Harassers save the day? Nope rumble repairs taken away. I don't want rumble seats to return, switching to the 3rd seat, when you want to drive, wasn't sweet.

    Then again harassers did kill my collosus; yet verse MBT's its a diff story. Harassers haven't gone toe to toe with MBT's for over a year. They may be good at killing collosus; yet are terrible at killing mbt's.

    Well their def terrible at killing 2 MBT's that's for sure. Meanwhile MBT's aren't terrible at killing 2 harassers.

    Collosus; gets 30% resistance to harassers. Why? too tough to hit. easy for harassers to kite the colossus.
    My collosus just survived 20 tanks for 40 min, to die to 2 harassers who bum rushed me. >.>

    That's essentially the only thing right now harassers are good at; trolling infantry or killing Collosus.
    Similarly the Valkyrie sucks for most stuff, besides trolling infantry or killing Bastions lately.

    Harassers get 20% resistance to mbt's. Why? rumble repair gone; means harassers aren't dealing with the hoards of tanking camping Esamirs hills.




    3) The Valkyrie isn't even suppose to be a air to ground ship. I've mentioned what I want the valk to turn into. The Valk mains have quit, they fly freaking NSO crafts now. Now anyone just flies valks to takeout bastions. Lost it's purpose. Air to ground is a troll nose gun for valk. Galaxies already travel " escort " soldiers to places. So why the valk then?

    I'll fix the valk right now.
    Delete the nose gun.
    Add 2 more rumble seats.
    So 8 sideview seats.
    Buff the hover by 100%
    Buff the resistance to ESFs, Tank shells, Lockons, & Anti Air by 1000%
    Keep the dmg that bullets do to valks the same.
    Don't allow anyone to board who has mines and c4 equipped.
    Buff rumble seat infantry hp by 80%
    Allow those riding the valk to be shot by enemy ground infantry.
    Don't allow sniper/scout/battle rifles to board. No long range guns.

    Done. Now You have a FORTIFIED HELICOPTOR that hovers & is a SHOOTING GALLERY.
    No nose gun bs. No transport role that the galaxy already does.
    The best feature of the Valk is SHOOTING FROM IT AS INFANTRY.

    Without the valk pilot having to dodge jack **** below; and hover steady; thus the resistance.
    So it's a anti infantry helicopter verse infantry fairly.
    What kills the valks? Not tank shells. Not Esfs. Not Planes. Not Lockon Launchers.
    Just bullets & dumbfire launchers, that's what damages the valks, nothing else.

    So the valk is now a bullet & dumbfire rocket helicopter, with resistances to everything besides other bullets and dumbfire rockets. & the Valks purpose now, isn't to kill bastions, isn't to transport troops, isn't the nose gun that trolls. It's to hover steadily, asborb damage to everything besides infantry shooting it, and allow the infantry aboard to have fun shooting below like some safari.

    Instead of my Valk main friend who use to just run away from enemy ESF's as a valk; crash his valk into a tower; yell at his team that they don't man aa guns; then alt f4 rage quit. He gets to play a new valk style. Thus the esf resistance. Can't give those on board air sickness from dodging nothing. Zero. Only hover. Lots of steady hover resist to everything, traded for no nose gun.




    4) As for infantry " balance " verse vehicles. I asked the devs to give Infantry free lvl 1 lockons, that do 30% to 20% less dps than the 1,000 cert av lockons. Yet are free av lockons to start ps2. So Magriders on cliffs aren't kiting noobs. They get AV lockons for free.

    5) Harasser is not superior to armor. Their's literally a guy named " IMainTheWorstVehicleInTheGame" & he's a harasser main.
    Even the guy named " TheCrazyTaxi" is a good driver and he dies all the time. All the Harasser mains die non stop. Once awhile get a bounty, mostly verse infantry. Then we die from a Mine & repeat. Till we get bored. & want to drift / have more turbo / fire a missile ability overhead / or new driving spec for first person view buffs / 6 speed shift. Else higher jumps for daredevil. & more turning more turning spec.

    6) Harassers chase other harassers more often then dueling a MBT 1vs1. So when your a harasser, not only do you have to deal with bounty MBT's, you also hella have to deal with other enemy harassers. Maybe even more than tanks have to.

    7) Harassers driving in circles? Tanks have gotten better at shooting circling harassers, around the time rumble seats were taken away, ironically. Most MBT's now shoot perfect shots at every harasser doing laps around them. Almost Easily. The harasser never got a turbo or speed upgrade, so their speed is PREDICTABLE for years.

    8) Tank drivers get better at aiming over the years. While dodging is limited to mph speed, even if you have dodging skill. Meanwhile a podshot tank skill, can kill you a tank shell ESF at 2,000 miles out. A harasser driver isn't upgrading his drive speed by 2,000 MPH.

    I can juke, yet their is some limitation to that. esp with a spec thats has slower mph than racer has.

    9) Yes harassers are good verse infantry in bases sometimes; yet all the infantry gang up on you. Even low lvl people know to shoot enemy harasser immediately.

    10) Overall bounty magrider's are running amock; who's gonna stop them? prowlers? sometimes. vanguards? not often. harassers? not. solo sunderers? no.

    If they buff the Valk's to make it mega resistance to most aspects. I noticed it may be used as a immortal transport ship; so why the Galaxy?

    Well the galaxy deploys and has guns, the valk won't.
    & if they buff the seat #'s for the galaxy. Making the galaxy hold 6 to 8 more people.
    So it's used for bigger transports.

    Tho even if the valk is a immortal valk for getting somewhere safely. With ESFS having a tough time shooting them down. That's not that OP. I mean steele rains already do that. & ESFS have been killing Valks way too easily for years.
    So why does it matter that the valk is destined for mostly only bullets to kill it.
    If they buff the dmg bullets do to the valk, that is.

    Then the valk is mostly resistance to every other enemy vehicle by 1000%, & 1000% resistant to lockons, while bullets & dumbfire launchers do 40% more dmg to the valk, than they do now.

    However fair stat wise, that the valk is a infantry verse infantry vehicle that ignores all other vehicles.
