[Suggestion] Specialist PDW for LA (Punisher)

As a PS1 vet I remember the punisher with fond memories of the Punisher, basically the swiss-army knife of planetside, allowing for extremely versatility, as well as decent firepower, but it was only good at short ranges, as the cone-of-fire was absolutely horrendous after firing a couple rounds. Here comes my suggestion.

Specialist PDW - A small compact weapon (possibly bullpup) about the size of a carbine with average rate of fire, as well as low accuracy and small mag size along with higher than average horizontal recoil and lower than average bullet velocity, but the strength is the weapon comes equipped with a Less-Lethal grenade launcher that can fire 4 types of grenades, This weapon also does not suffer from the UBGL - equip speed. (Through use of the UBGL attachment, the grenade can be kitted differently.) *Pressing the infantry tertiary fire button selects the UBGL*
    • EMP (Heavily Tweaked INF EMP) - Impact activation EMP grenade more in favor of disabling vehicles with 35% the blast radius of standard, performs much like the jammer grenade from PS1, also disables terminals and lift pads as well as turrets for 10 seconds, still has all the effects of standard EMP, slows vehicle turn speed disables weapons and abilties and movement speed. *Goes through solid objects*
    • Decoy (Upgraded INF decoy) - This version has a timed fuse *2 seconds* lasts 10 seconds and fires more in automatic bursts, as well as making a fake radar signal. *Heavy grenade has more drop and less velocity*
    • Smoke (Upgraded LA smoke) - Impact activation Smoke grenade that has extra effects, like not being able to spot enemies inside the radius and breaking locks inside the cloud. *Default*
    • Concussion (Heavily nerfed HA concussion) - Timed fuse *2 seconds* has 55% the radius of standard flashbangs, *Heavy grenade, has more drop and less velocity*
    167 dmg / 600 rpm / 25 mag / Acts similarly to NC AF-19 with a smaller mag.
    143 dmg / 750 rpm / 30 mag / Acts similarly to TR TRAC-5 with a smaller mag.

Attachments - The attachments of this weapon affect both the Less-Lethal GL and the rifle, these are just the UBGL bonuses
    • Barrel - These add a cosmetic difference to the UBGL.
      • Compensator - Increases vapor trail of grenade and decreases drop by 15%
      • Suppressor - Removes vapor trail and muffles sound, but decreases velocity by 20%
      • Flash Suppressor - Removes vapor trail
    • Rail - These are edited to look more fitting on an UBGL.
      • Forward grip - Increases equip speed of the weapon and UBGL (Looks like an angled foregrip)
      • Laser Sight - Increases equip speed of the weapon and UBGL
      • Flashlight - Increases grenade DMG by 9001%
    • Ammunition - These Increase potency of the UBGL.
      • Soft Point Ammunition - Increases Radius of the grenade
      • High Velocity Ammunition - Increases Velocity by 20% increases drop by 10% *Increased drop voided by compensator*
    • Scopes - Depending on the scope your flip-up sights for the UBGL will change.
Metagame Additions - Certain things this weapon could add to the current metagame is a more supportive light assault, being able pop and EMP onto a tank and have your heavies start annihilating it with their rockets, all the while the tank is unable to fire back. For defensive situations, being able to pop smoke on your allied vehicles would make them love you for pulling of that NS homing rocket. As for the decoys you could lure people into a perfect area for a flanking shot and take out a whole group, finally concussion grenades would be able to completely demolish MAXes with the C4 combo allowing LA to go hunting for enemies and make the battlefield even more of his best friend.

I like the versatility it would offer the class, but I don't quite understand all the attachments. Why is everything oriented towards the UBGL? I would have thought it was just a stock bonus of the weapon, not the apex of the weapon.

Due to the low combat efficiency of the actual weapon, it would require having certain small buffs for the UBGL to be worth it, or else there would be no reason to not use an actual UBGL, at least in my opinion. IT still has all the bonuses for the actual weapon, compensator still reduces vertical recoil and such, but has an added bonus for the UBGL, so you are rewarded for using less powerful gun than say the TRAC-5 S with an underbarrel. This is purely for balance reasons, so this weapon does not become extremely bad. In PS1, the Punisher's main purpose was to spam jammers at vehicles and frags into crowded rooms without sacrificing much firepower, but in PS1 there was no real attachment system, in PS2 there is. Without the pressence of a dedicated grenade launcher made for spamming, I took the idea into my own hands.
