I GOT IT. All ESFs probably have that "you can see out of it but not into it" glass, but when looking at it from the outside it looks different from the inside. Logic.
Another thing, why does the kobalt have twice as much ammunition as the basilisks when they are carrying the same size ammo box? The basilisk has two of these, while the kobalt has only one...
This actually makes sense... The Basilisk is almost an autocannon, firing 20mm shells. The Kobalt is a 12.7mm machinegun. The one on the left is a 20mm shell, and the one on the right is a 12.7mm cartridge. Naturally you can fit many more 12.7mm cartridges in the same spot as 20mm shells.
the thing that has always bothered me about the basilisk is that looking from the business end you see the barrel size and and feed from the box and they to say it lightly don't fit i know nanites and such it's just in the back of my mind annoyed me slightly.
Ah, ok. So that explains it. Though It still bothers me that the belts and ammunition boxes are the same size.
