Does anyone have any information regarding server location? I play from Asia, so I defaulted to Briggs (AU) server. However, the lack of coordination there can be very much vexing..so I tried creating a character on US (Miller). At character creation screen, the reported latency is the exact same. So just where is the AU server located? In the US? If so, why should I play on the scarcely populated AU server? Time zone? There are probably more players on any US server at any given time than peak time in AU anyway.

If both Briggs and Connery are located in California, then you should probably just switch over to Connery, as Connery is one of the most active servers, and Briggs is one of the least. Hell, why doesn't SOE just merge Briggs with Connery? It's not like there will be any latency issues for the AU players or anything, and we all know Briggs desperately needs it.

if u create a new character u can see next to the servers the ping select the server with the lowest ping
Briggs is not in California... Its in Australia... (the .au popping up in the tracert kinda gives it away)
The information server is in California (The track your kill stats etc) But the actual game server is in Sydney, Australia, so as an Australian on briggs I get between 50 - 100 ping, yet on connery it is 300+ The lack of coordination is because by the sounds of it, you are lone wolfing it everywhere, there are many great outfits around on Briggs
