So SOE you say you want infiltrators to have a good mid range weapon choice, and we agree. So lets look at what the scout rifle needs to be effective at mid range. More ammo is nice, and the rof changes seem reasonable. Why is the semi rifle loosing damage at range? Assuming the data we have is correct, this seems counter productive. Put simply if you are not a sniper, and will be going mid range or closer as an infiltrator, you NEED a suppressor. Yet using that suppressor makes the performance at mid range so poor you wind up with an ineffective mid range weapon as a result. The consensus from those that use these weapons, the infiltrator community. Have for the most part all agreed that they need a higher bullet velocity, in one way or another to actually be a useful mid range choice. Either by a direct buff, or the option to cert for high velocity ammo.
