Subscribers skip the queue and any sort of faction balancing. As long as the continent is not player capped you join immediately. That's my suggestion.
This is something that needs to be addressed. Certainly is an issue when you cough up the clams for the benefits.
I've been a subscriber for as long as I've been playing the game. I sub to not have to wait, both to not wait for resources that much and particularly to be the first in queue when I log on. When it still takes 5-10 minutes to get to a continent (sometimes longer) and there are 0 fun fights, like today only Esamir was open and KOLTYR.. Are the devs really expecting us to fight on Koltyr with 10 people on each side? link to the status today (https://imgur.com/a/5g0hDHw) I've heard some say "just go play a different faction", well that's like saying go play for the other soccer team. Why would I? - my friends and team are not playing the other faction. Planetside 2 also has certs, implants, achievements, character progression that some of us actually want to work on. I've still not unlocked carapace..

And then you got situations like this, 42% VS, 33% TR and 23% NC. Because NC has lower pop we now have 3 TR players in our outfit waiting for 9 minutes in queue (and counting) to join us on amerish.
