Heyo, how far are we allowed to change the useroptions.ini file? I would like to change the Charlie squad platoon colour so it does not look like my VS colour anymore. Also I'd like to increase the volume of some of the voicepacks, so they are better to hear.
As far as I know .ini changing is perfectly fine. For what you wanna change it for seems ok to me. Now for the changing of platoon colors, you can do that in-game already. Just go to the platoon page, then flip to the squad you want to change.
Didn't know I can change the Platoon colours in game, many thanks for that tip. 1640 hours in game and this is completely new for me ;D
Changing the squad colors is totally legit, like everything in the UserOptions.ini You can even change it in game (but you have to be in a squad/platoon) BTW: my squad colors are as following: I found bravo very indistinguishable from the platoon leader color. And with the default grey/black of delta I found it hard to see the actual health of my m8s (playing much medic, so it's midway important to me) PlatoonSquadColor0=65280 PlatoonSquadColor1=15885602 PlatoonSquadColor2=9578383 PlatoonSquadColor3=65535 Next would be to fiddle with the actual numbers to get an even better overview.
