The open ground between Quartz ridge in the south and Excavation site in the closest thing to a large scale outdoor battle with logistic lines and vehicle warfare.

So, why bother making a bottleneck ?

Even if the outpost is "won" by whoever has the most vehicle... it's good.
Because both sides will be pretty even in distance and both sides are able to supply large ammounts of vehicles to the fight. So winning the outpost would be more about controlling the valley than spamming infantry in a bottleneck.

Hvar east is alreay hard to crack, it's a good chokepoint of sorts with elevated position, turrets and walls

because of mana-av-turrets the field between quarz ridge and excavation site is a vehicle trap. its the same at abandoned ns office.
2-3 people can sniper all the vehicles to death and they can do nothing.

So what about fixing broken weapons instead of designing terrain and battleflow around them? I love Quartz Ridge VS Indar Excavation. Quartz Ridge itself could use some improvements but please don't touch the huge battlefield leading to Excavation.

The only reason to have tanks in a battle at quartz ridge is to distract the noob gunners from incoming sunderers. This is not going to change afte the remake.
