The PlanetSide 2 Public Test Server will be updated this afternoon (Pacific) with the following changes.

    Construction
    • A cooldown of 30 seconds has been applied to all vehicle pulls. This change includes lattice bases.
    • Placing a Cortium Silo's placement cost has been increased from 1000 to 2000. The amount of cortium the Silo starts out with has also been increased to 2000.
    • Silo's cortium reserve has been increased from 10,000 to 20,000 (40% of a silo's maximum cortium level.)
    • Cortium Silo's low-cortium warning message now triggers at 1,000 cortium, instead of 500.
    • Orbital Strike now charges at the correct rate.
    • Orbital Strike no longer fires when a Silo is drained.
    • Spawn Tubes and Vehicle Pads now decay when unpowered.
    • Constructed Air Pads now provide ammunition to aircraft.
    • Constructed Air Pads and Vehicle Pads now adhere to the cortium reserve rules. If a Silo is below 20,000 cortium it will only allow access to squadmates and the vehicle pad owner.
    • Constructed Air Pads and Vehicle Pads can now be locked from use.

Known Issue: UI on certain vehicles pulled from construction pads isn't showing up properly, cortium is still pulled when the vehicle is pulled though.

    Infantry
The first iteration of the new heavy battle rifles are now available on the public test server. These weapons continue to be a work in progress, and will continue to be polished over later updates.

MG-HBR1 Dragoon (Terran Republic Battle Rifle)
The first automatic battle rifle to enter the battlefield, the Dragoon combines stopping power with precision.

MGR-M1 Bishop (New Conglomerate Battle Rifle)
This finely tuned battle rifle uses special rounds which can pass through infantry targets, dealing heavy damage along the way.

VE-LR Obelisk (Vanu Sovereignty Battle Rifle)
A heat based weapon, the Obelisk casts aside traditional ammunition requirements, while retaining versatility and damage.

    Bug Fixes and Misc.
    • Vehicles now display ability cooldowns in first and third person.
    • The character create screen's graphics and audio settings are now in parity with those in-game.
    • Players can now choose to decloak upon attempting to fire their weapon. This option is now available in the General Settings menu.
    • Comparing weapons in the loadout screen will no longer show the comparison prompt when targeting attachments.
