Hello all, My friend in Japan was able to play in the PS 2 Bata. The other day he upgraded his computer to Windows 7 and wanted to rejoin us playing Plantside. He has been unable to get past the pick a gender screen. And all the screen writing is in White blocks. He reinstalled PS2, no luck. He has windows 7 with native language set to Japanese. Intel i7 with 12gigs ram Saphhire 7850 He has other games he runs that are in English, and have no problems. I have also attached a screen pic he sent me that show's his screen view. Probably similar to how Ragnarok Battle Offline in Japanese works for US players, he probably has to set the unicode settings to english in his region setting of the control panel. I'm not entirely sure if that will fix the problem, but it's worth a try.
