Any time you have to use a Proxy you should supect that your PC has a hack or trojan in it. PS2 will not run with proxy's and if you force it to run your just setting your self up for your account to be hacked. And if the account is hacked your just SOL as far as Daybreak is conserned. It your problem then. PS2 is by far the best Virus and Torjan and Adware detector there is anywhere on the network. Never Never Never do what the guys says above with PS2 and a proxy....!
A quick search brought me this: https://www.reddit.com/r/h1z1/comments/3hzlxv/solution_error_unable_to_download_httpexception/ It is a solution for H1Z1 but it might very well work for PS2. Please give it a try and post the outcome. Just in general it also helps to describe your actual problem and any steps you tried so far. @User By putting said IP in as a proxy the system is merely directly contacting that server. That server is not a proxy so one would not use a proxy. Stop spouting half-knowledge. If you hate the company and its products so much just stay away from it. Helping others with their problems is different from spreading rumors. Edit: I used a popular internet search engine...
So, the task at hand is to use the file-explorer to navigate to the FOLDER with the name "Digests". You can use one simple trick provided you know the name and the spelling of your username, the username you use when you log on to Windows. You simply copy the link C:\Users\*Your username!*\AppData\LocalLow\Daybreak Game Company\Digests and paste it into the address bar of the filebrowser. Then you exchange the *part* with your Windows username and hit Enter on the keyboard. If that goes over your head: Go to the control panel, open folder options and make invisible folders visible: http://www.askvg.com/options-to-cha...settings-are-not-available-in-folder-options/ The AppData-folder should be not visible or semi-visible by default. After you've done that you navigate to the "Digests"-folder and delete its contents. Just start on the C:\ and then follow the the route like picking up bread crumbs. C:\Users\*Your username*\AppData\LocalLow\Daybreak Game Company\Digests Just post any further questions.
Glad to hear it! You can also create a bookmark just like in Firefox or Chrome for specific folders btw. If you play on the Miller Server I can hook you up with nice people to play with. Anyhow, have fun shootin' dem Planetmans.
I know what you are saying and your correct. But PS2 downloads can come from different servers from time to time and this causes more problems using a proxy. And when the game works correct there is no need for a Proxy. PS2 is set up not to run proxys. But glad to here you found the problem for him.. Again stupid hidden files... more DEV junk. No doubt a corruped hidden file. Good Job Sheepsrule
