It may seem impossible, but I feel that camo on aircraft really helps in some situations, like when you have landed for repairs. Perhaps not a lot, but a bit. However, if you get the flak armor upgrade, it bolts big black panels over your paintjob / logos. I think this is also the case for tanks which arguably benefit more from armor (with their reinforced armor certs). Would it be possible for the bolted on panels to inherit the camo of the vehicle at least somewhat?
